Objective:The data were collected and compiled through questionnaires and telephone follow-ups from 2019 to 2021 from inpatients suffering from high anal fistula and treated with the combined virtual and real hanging method and the solid hanging method, and retrospectively analyzed the cure rate, wound healing time,six-month recurrence rate, pain score on postoperative day 1,day 7,day 14,and day 20,and evaluation of anal function;evaluated the effectiveness and safety of the combined virtual and real hanging method compared with the traditional solid hanging method;and provided some reference values for the selection of new procedures for treating high anal fistula. The efficacy and safety of the virtual-real wire method compared with the traditional real wire method in the treatment of high anal fistula;to provide some reference value for the selection of new procedures in the treatment of high anal fistula. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed surgical inpatients diagnosed with high anal fistula in our hospital from 2019 to 2021,and collected patient data by questionnaire and telephone follow-up,and collected a total of 93 cases(47cases using the virtual and real hanging method and 46 cases using the real hanging method)who met the inclusion criteria, and observed their postoperative healing, wound healing time,six-month recurrence rate, pain scores at different time points after surgery, and evaluation of anal function. Results:By collecting and organizing the data,93 data were collected in both groups. After statistical analysis, the baseline data of age, gender composition, and BMI of patients in both groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05);follow-up revealed that patients in both groups were completely cured, and there was no difference between the two procedures in terms of healing rate;in terms of wound healing time, the mean healing time was 44.45±7.73 d in the observation group and 52.57±10.46 d in the control group after statistical analysis. The healing time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);in the comparison of the recurrence rate six months after surgery, there were 2 cases and 3 cases of recurrence in the observation group and the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);in the comparison of the postoperative VAS scores,it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in the pain between the two groups in the first postoperative day(P>0.05),and in the seventh, fourteenth and twentieth postoperative days The observation group scores were lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the comparison of anal Wexner function evaluation after healing was 0.81±0.65 in the observation group and2.89±0.48 in the control group, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusions:The retrospective analysis revealed that,in terms of effectiveness, the overall healing rate was the same for both methods, and the combined virtual and real hanging method had a significant advantage in reducing the healing time.In terms of safety, the combination of real and imaginary sutures could better reduce patients’ pain, reduce sphincter damage, and protect anal function. In comparison, the combination of real and imaginary sutures was found to be effective and safer in the treatment of high anal fistula.
