Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the surgical concept of accelerated rehabilitation applied to the perioperative period of mixed hemorrhoids, observe its role in reducing hospital stay and reducing postoperative complications, and then provide a reference for the formation of ERAS consensus of various diseases in proctology. Methods:From December 2021 to November 2022,66 patients who were diagnosed with mixed hemorrhoids were treated in the anorectal surgery ward of Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,Hebei Province, and were divided into treatment group and control group according to the random number table method, the treatment group was ERAS group, and the control group was general perioperative group, with 33 cases in each group.By comparing the hospital stay and postoperative complications of mixed hemorrhoids between the two groups, such as postoperative bleeding, pain, urinary retention and wound edema, the efficacy of ERAS on patients with mixed hemorrhoids in the perioperative period was observed.SPSS27.0was used for data statistics. Results:There was no obvious difference in the general condition of the two groups, and there was no obvious difference in the preoperative condition, which was comparable, and the results were as follows.1.Length of hospitalization: P<0.05 was compared between treatment group and control group, the difference was statistically significant, and the number of days in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, indicating that the application of ERAS concept could shorten the hospital stay.2.Postoperative pain score: P<0.05 was statistically significant in the comparison of pain scores at 6,12 and 24 hours after surgery, indicating that the ERAS concept improved patients’ pain symptoms and its effect was significantly higher than that of the control group.3.Postoperative urinary retention: Compared with the two groups, the postoperative urinary retention P<0.05 was significant, and the occurrence of urinary retention in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group, indicating that the application of ERAS concept could effectively reduce the occurrence of postoperative urinary retention.4.Postoperative bleeding score: By comparing the postoperative blee ding score P>0.05 between the two groups, there was no significant di fference. The results showed that there was no significant difference bet ween the use of ERAS and the general perioperative period in controlli ng postoperative wound bleeding in patients.5.Postoperative edema of the wound margin: The wound edema scores of the two groups on the first and third postoperative days were P<0.05,which was significant, indicating that the ERAS concept could alleviate the degree of postoperative wound edema.6.Comparison of adverse effects: There were no adverse effects at f ollow-up after three months in either group. Conclusion:The application of ERAS concept to the perioperative period of mixed hemorrhoids can significantly reduce the number of hospital stays, alleviate the complications of postoperative urinary retention, pain and edema, improve the medical experience, and provide new clinical ideas for promoting the rehabilitation of patients with mixed hemorrhoids.
