Objective Based on the latest edition of guidelines issued by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China,the consensus of experts related to hemodialysis and the theory of knowledge and practice,this study revised the central catheter-related knowledge and practice scale for prevention of bloodstream infection,which has the characteristics of hemodialysis specialty and reflects the differences between routine maintenance of hemodialysis catheters and other departments.The aim is to provide an evaluation tool with good specificity,scientificity,reliability and validity of hemodialysis catheters,so as to provide references for hemodialysis nurses to know their own prevention and control level or hemodialysis managers to identify the weak points of prevention and control in departments.Methods A research group shall be established after obtaining the authorization of the scale compiler.The research team discussed and analyzed the items in the original scale(Central Catheter-related Blood Flow Infection Prevention Knowledge and Practice Scale)and the recommendations of the Guidelines for Vascular Catheter-related Infection Prevention and Control(2021 Edition),the Expert Consensus on Vascular Access for Hemodialysis in China(2nd Edition)and the Expert Consensus on Clinical venous Catheter Maintenance and Operation,and completed the preliminary revision.Experts were invited to score the importance of items in the scale revised by the research group.The research group revised and improved the scale again according to the expert rating results and suggestions for modification,and finally formed the revised scale.The revised scale was used to investigate hemodialysis nurses in Anhui province,and the internal consistency reliability,content validity and structure validity of the scale were statistically analyzed to determine the reliability and stability of the scale.Results 1.In the discussion stage of the research group,after the analysis of the original scale and guide,2 items were modified,19 items were deleted,and 5 items were added.The final number of items was 55.The scale dimensions remain the same.2.In the expert letter consultation stage,a total of 20 experts were invited to participate in the letter consultation,and finally 18 experts accepted the invitation to complete two rounds of letter consultation.The average authority coefficient of 18 experts was 0.93.In the first round of expert letter consultation,the positive coefficient of experts was90%,the average score of item importance was 4.81,the average score of item full score was 83.92%,the average variation coefficient of item importance score was 0.09,and the expert harmony coefficient reached a significant level.In the second round of expert correspondence consultation,the positive coefficient of experts was 100%,the average score of item importance was 4.87,the average score of item full score was86.84%,the average variation coefficient of item importance score was 0.07,and the expert harmony coefficient reached a significant level.According to expert opinions,1item was deleted,4 items were added and 5 items were modified in two rounds of expert consultation,and the wording of scale items was standardized and polished.The revised scale finally formed at this stage includes 58 items,and the scale dimensions remain unchanged.3.At the stage of reliability and validity test,360 valid questionnaires were finally collected.In the process of project analysis,2 items that meet the deletion criteria are deleted.In exploratory factor analysis,5 common factors were extracted after 3 items meeting the deletion criteria,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was74.957%.The content validity of the revised scale was 0.833~1.000,the content validity of the revised scale was 0.988,and the Kronbach α coefficient was 0.980.The Kronbachα coefficient of knowledge dimension is 0.886,the Kronbach α coefficient of belief dimension is 0.982 and the Kronbach α coefficient of behavior dimension is 0.983.The broken half reliability of the revised scale was 0.876.The final revised scale consists of3 dimensions and 53 items,and the items of knowledge,belief and behavior dimensions are 18 items,17 items and 18 items respectively.Conclusions 1.The hemodialysis nurse version of the central catheter-related bloodstream infection Prevention Scale is based on the latest guidelines and expert consensus,and revised in combination with the clinical practice of hemodialysis and related literature.It has the characteristics of hemodialysis specialty,with a scientific and rigorous revision process and detailed and comprehensive evaluation content.2.Hemodialysis nurse version of the central catheter-related bloodstream infection prevention Scale has good applicability in hemodialysis nursing staff,and the reliability and validity results of its application in hemodialysis nursing staff are good,and the evaluation results have high stability and reliability.This scale is suitable for evaluating the prevention and control level of central catheter-related bloodstream infections in hemodialysis nurses.
