| Objective: The patients with II and III internal hemorrhoids were treated with endoscopic rubber band ligation, and to analyse the therapeutic effect for II and III degree internal hemorrhoids. Methods: From January 2021 to June 2022,62 patients with internal hemorrhoids of grade II and III who underwent endoscopic rubber band ligation at the Endoscopic Center of Taixing People’s Hospital were selected.Follow-up at the first and sixth months after operation was carried out to observe complications and recurrence, and the improvement of main symptoms after operation was evaluated by visual analogue score of pain(VAS),bleeding degree score, prolapse degree score and itching degree score. Results: All the patients in the group completed the endoscopic rubber band ligation treatment and successfully completed the follow-up task.Among the early complications,2 patients(3.2%)had difficulty urinating, and 1 patient(1.6%)had a small amount of bleeding once after operation. All cases have varying degrees of anal swelling/falling pain. One month after the operation,2 cases(3.2%)had bleeding symptoms. On the 8th and 11 th day after the operation,1 case(1.6%)had mild prolapse.Compared with VAS score, bleeding degree score, prolapse degree score and itching degree score before treatment and 1 month after treatment, the proportion of each grade decreased significantly(P<0.05).Follow-up for 6 months after operation showed that the total effective rate was 95.2%,of which 38 cases were cured(61.3%),14 cases were significantly effective(22.6%)and 7 cases were effective(11.3%).Three patients(4.8%)had recurred in the follow-up of 6 months after operation. The main symptoms were prolapse. The pain and itching symptoms of the enrolled patients were improved, and there were no complications such as infection and anal stenosis. Conclusion: Endoscopic rubber ring ligation(ERBL)can effectively eliminate the symptoms of grade II and III internal hemorrhoids, with significant short-term clinical efficacy,no serious postoperative complications, and a high overall treatment effectiveness rate.It is a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for internal hemorrhoids. |
