Objective: The nutrition and health literacy questionnaire and the adjusted diet balance index during pregnancy were used to evaluate the status of nutrition and health literacy and overall diet quality of pregnant women in Urumqi,and the influencing factors were analyzed.Methods: A total of 931 pregnant women who underwent prenatal examination in Urumqi Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital were selected as the research objects,and the nutrition and health literacy status was investigated.The dietary frequency questionnaire was used to investigate their diet,and their social demographic information such as pregnancy,education level,and living habits were collected.Based on the diet balance index during pregnancy,the adjustment was made.To evaluate the dietary quality of pregnant women in Urumqi Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital,and analyze the influencing factors of dietary quality by multiple linear regression.Results:The average score of nutrition and health during pregnancy of 931 pregnant women was10.50±4.21(range 0-24),and the total qualified rate was 23.31%.The average score of nutrition and health knowledge was higher in pregnant women with postgraduate education or above(P=0.004),family history of metabolic diseases(P=0.000)and exercise habit before pregnancy(P=0.000).The average score of infant nutrition and health knowledge was higher in pregnant women with primary school education or below(P=0.001),non-primiparous women(P=0.000),pregnant women with unprotected pregnancy(P=0.001)and those without smoking habit before pregnancy(P=0.017).Non-primiparous women(P=0.000),those who had exercise habit before pregnancy(P=0.002)and those who had no smoking habit before pregnancy(P=0.008)had higher nutrition and health literacy.The medians of total scores in the first,second and third trimesters were all negative.The medians of the first,second and third trimesters were0.00(0.00,3.00),1.00(0.00,3.00)and 1.00(0.00,3.00),respectively.The median of lower quartile were 24.00(19.00,29.00),24.00(19.0,30.25)and 26.00(20.00,31.00),respectively.The median dietary quality distance was 25.50(19.00,29.00),26.00(21.00,32.00),27.00(22.00,32.00);The proportions of excessive intake in the first,second and third trimesters were 11.2%,22.5% and 18.8%,the pro-portions of insufficient intake were82.1%,88.5% and 90.2%,and the proportions of unbalanced intake were 78.2%,83.7%and 90.2%,respectively.The highest pro-portion of "appropriate" was in the first and second trimester,and the highest pro-portion of "relatively appropriate" was in the third trimester."Low" had the highest proportion of negative end score and diet quality distance in the first,second and third trimesters.Compared with the appropriate age pregnant women,the advanced age pregnant women had higher positive end scores(P=0.030),and lower negative end scores and diet quality distance scores(both P<0.05).The higher the education level,the lower the negative end scores and diet quality distance scores(both P<0.05).The negative end score and diet quality distance score of pregnant women with drinking history were higher than those of non-drinking women(both P<0.05).Conclusion: The overall nutrition and health literacy level of pregnant women in Urumqi Maternal and Child Health Hospital needs to be improved,the dietary intake is not balanced,and the overall dietary quality level tends to be insufficient intake.Health education and dietary guidance should be strengthened for pregnant women of advanced age,low education level,first-time pregnant women,poor living habits and low education level.
