Objective: To investigate the relationship between androgen receptor expression and clinicopathological features in breast cancer patients with different molecular types. Methods: A total of 646 breast cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from 2019 to 2021 were analyzed retrospectively as the research objects. The expressions of AR,ER,PR,HER2,Ki-67,P53,P63 and CK5/6 were detected by immunohistochemistry(IHC).the expression differences of AR in different molecular types of breast cancer and the relationship between clinicopathological factors was analyzed. Results : Among 646 cases of breast cancer tissue, the positive rate of AR in 646 was 86.5%.The positive rates of AR in Luminal A,Luminal B Her2-positive,Luminal B Her2-negative,triple-negative,and Her2-positive breast cancers were 95.5%,92.9%,93.4%,39.4%,and 94.5%,respectively,and the differences were statistically significant.there were significant differences among different molecular types. The positive rate of AR was ralated to Lymph node metastasis, cancer embolus, histological grade,Ki-67,P63,CK5/6,ER,PR and Her-2.And AR was positively correlated with lymph node metastasis and cancer embolism,On the contrary,AR was negatively correlated with histological grade,Ki-67,P63,and CK5/6.The differences in AR expression in triple-negative breast cancer were statistically significant with cancer thrombus, histologic grade, and CK5/6.AR was positively correlated with cancer thrombus and negatively correlated with histology and CK5/5 in triple-negative breast cancer. Conclusions : AR is differentially expressed in breast cancers of different molecular staging and has a relationship with clinicopathological factors. In particular, the relationship between it and clinical factors in triple negative breast cancer provides an important diagnostic basis for future precise treatment and prediction of prognosis.
