| Objectives: Leukemia is the most common cancer in children,which brings heavy burden to society and family.In our country,the task of caring for children with leukemia is mainly undertaken by parents.As caregivers,parents not only have to shoulder heavy care tasks,but also have to deal with complex disease symptoms and emergencies,and bear the mental burden of relatives who may die at any time,which will lead to physical and mental damage and decreased quality of life.Studies have found that positive psychological intervention can reduce individual negative emotions,maximize the potential or inherent positive strength and positive quality of the individual,so as to improve the individual’s positive emotions and positive behavior to achieve individual adaptability,so as to conform to the internal realization of the self.1.Through literature review and expert interviews,this study intends to construct a group positive psychological intervention program based on the PERMA model for parents of leukemia children;2.To explore the effects of group positive psychological intervention based on PERMA model on anxiety and depression,psychological adaptation level and happiness of parents of leukemia children,and to seek scientific and effective solutions for comprehensively improving the emotions of parents of leukemia children.Methods: A total of 86 parents of children with leukemia who were hospitalized in the Department of Pediatrics of a Class ⅲ Grade A general hospital in Urumqi were selected as the research objects.The parents of children with leukemia were divided into the control group(44 cases)and the intervention group(42 cases)by random number table method.On the basis of routine nursing,the intervention group was given positive group psychological intervention based on PERMA model twice a week for 2 weeks,a total of 4 times.The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale,Psychological adjustment Scale and Campbell well-being Scale were used to evaluate the emotion of parents of leukemia children before each intervention,at the end of each intervention and 4 weeks after the end of the intervention.SPSS23.0 was used for statistical analysis.Statistical methods included descriptive analysis,chi-square test,independent sample t test and repeated measures analysis of variance,etc.P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.Through searching and reading a large number of literature,consulting experts in oncology,nursing,and psychology,combined with the Positive Psychotherapy Manual and Tsinghua University positive psychology online course training,the group positive psychological intervention program suitable for the experimental group was finally formed.There were four themes,including introduction of positive advantages,experience of blessing flow,gratitude and helping others,which were carried out in the form of group,twice a week for two weeks.(2)A total of 98 people were included in the intervention,and12 people were lost during the study.Finally,86 people completed the study,including 42 in the intervention group and 44 in the control group.(1)Before intervention,there were no statistically significant differences in the baseline scores of general demographic data,anxiety and depression scores,psychological adaptation scores and well-being index scores of parents of children between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)At the end of the intervention and 4 weeks after the intervention,the anxiety and depression scores of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)At the end of the intervention and 4 weeks after the intervention,the psychological adaptation scores of the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group.(4)At the end of the intervention and 4weeks after the intervention,the total score of well-being index in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions: The implementation of group positive psychological intervention based on the PERMA model is beneficial to improve the depression and anxiety of parents of children with leukemia,improve their psychological adaptation and happiness level,and promote mental health. |
