Objective:The topic of this text is the exploration of the clinical efficacy of the modified Chaihu Longgu Muli Tang combined with acupuncture in treating anxiety in patients during the peri-dialysis period,as well as its impact on relevant inflammatory factor indi cators. Methods:This study selected 60 patients who met the diagnosis criteria for anxiety in the peri-dialysis period of CKD(liver depression and spleen deficiency pattern)from the outpatient and inpatient departments of the Department of Nephrology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine between December 2021 and December 2022.They were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=30)and a control group(n=30)using a random number table method. In addition to basic treatment, the treatment group was given modified Chaihu Longgu Muli Tang combined with acupuncture, while the control group was given Shugan Jieyu Capsules combined with acupuncture. The changes in HAMA score,SAS score,Chinese medicine syndrome score, and relevant inflammatory factor indicators such as RDW,WBC,and hsCRP levels were observed before and after treatment in both groups. The total effective rate was used to evaluate the treatment effect and to compare the differences between the two groups, thus obtaining the clinical efficacy conclusion of this therapy.Results:1.The modified Chaihu Longgu Muli Tang combined with acupuncture has shown better efficacy in treating anxiety in patients during the peri-dialysis period. The total effective rate in the treatment group was 8 0.00%,with 11 patients showing significant improvement,13 patients showing improvement, and 6 patients showing no improvement. In the control group,4 patients showed significant improvement,16 patients showed improvement, and 10 patients showed no improvement. The total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.After treatment,Chinese medicine syndrome scores as well as the HAMA and SAS scores of both groups showed varying degrees of decrease.A between-group comparison revealed statistically significant differences(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had more significant therapeutic effects.3.Both groups showed a downward trend in red cell distribution width, white blood cell count, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels after treatment. After treatment, the differences between the treatment group and control group were statistically signifi cant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The Chaihu Longgu Muli Tang modified with acupuncture can effectively improve the anxiety status of patients in the peri-dialysis period(with liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome).2.The Chaihu Longgu Muli Tang modified with acupuncture can effectively improve the systemic micro-inflammatory status and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors in patients during peridialysis period(with liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome).3.The modified Chaihu Longgu Muli Tang combined with acupuncture has shown significantly better clinical efficacy in treating anxiety in patients during the peri-dialysis period(liver depression and spleen deficiency pattern)compared to Shugan Jieyu Capsules combined with acupuncture.
