Clinical Observation Of Modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction In The Treatment Of Patients With Essential Hypertension (Phlegm Dampness Accumulation Type)

Objective:To observe the effects of modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction on the Clinic blood pressure,24-hour ambulatory blood pressure,total score of TCM syndrome,single score of TCM syndrome,and score of Du’s hypertensive quality of life scale before and after treatment in patients with primary hypertension of phlegm dampness stagnation type,and evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety.Methods:This study included 60 patients with primary hypertension of phlegm dampness accumulation type who visited the Cardiovascular Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2022 to December 2022.According to the random number table method,the admitted cases were randomly divided into a control group of 30 cases and a treatment group of 30 cases,with a course of4 weeks,with a course of 4 weeks.Both groups of patients took non-drug treatment such as healthy diet,weight control and regular sleep.On this basis,the control group of this study was treated with amlodipine besylate tablets,while the treatment group was treated with modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction.Record clinic blood pressure,24-hour ambulatory blood pressure,total score of TCM symptoms,single score of TCM symptoms,Du’s Hypertension Quality of Life Scale scores,and occurrence of two groups of patients before and after treatment.Using SPSS 26.0 to analyzes the experimental data and evaluates the clinical efficacy and safety of modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction in the treatment of primary hypertension patients with excessive phlegm dampness.Result:1.Baseline comparison: There was no significant difference in a series of indicators(disease course,gender,age)between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05),and the experimental groups were balanced;2.Clinic blood pressure: There was no significant difference in the overall mean of clinic blood pressure between the two groups before treatmen-t(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with the control group,the treatment group had a higher decrease in clinic blood pressure level,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of blood pressure reduction between the two groups was 93.10% in the treatment group and 72.41% in the control group.The treatment group had better blood pressure reduction efficacy,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.24-hour ambulatory blood pressure: There was no significant differe-nce in the overall mean blood pressure at 24 hours before treatment,during the day,and at night between the two groups(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with the control group,the treatment group had a higher decrease in the above indicators,and the difference was statistically signific-ant(P<0.05).4.TCM Syndrome Score: There was no significant difference in the overall distribution of single and total points of TCM symptom between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with the control group,the treatment group had a higher decrease in single and total points of TCM symptom,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compare the total effective rate of TCM syndrome efficacy between the two groups.The treatment group was 89.66%,while the control group was 58.62%.The TCM syndrome efficacy of the treatment group was better,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Du’s Hypertension Quality of Life Scale Score: There was no significant difference in the overall mean score of the Du’s Hypertension Quality of Life Scale between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with the control group,the treatment group had a higher increase in the scale score,and the treatment group improved the patient’s quality of life better than the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction can significantly reduce the clinic blood pressure and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure of patients with primary hypertension caused by excessive phlegm dampness,and the antihype-rtensive effect is effective and stable;2.Modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction can significantly reduce the single and total points of TCM symptoms in patients with primary hypertens-ion caused by excessive phlegm dampness,improve their symptoms and improve their quality of life;3.Modified Chaizhe Tianma Decoction is safe and reliable in treating primary hypertension with excessive phlegm dampness without adverse reactions.
