Objective:To explore and anal yze the correlation between the expression status of mismatch repair(MMR)proteins and the clinicopathological features of endometrial carcinoma(EC)by detecting their expression status. Methods:Clinical and pathological data of 97 endometrial cancer patients who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical Universit y and underwent full-scale staging surger y from J anuary 2018 to December 2022 were collected, and the four MMR proteins were detected using immunohistochemistry method and the data were anal yzed usingX~2 test,Fisher’s precision probability test and Logistic regression. The correlation between the expression status of the four MMR proteins and the cl inicopathological characteristics of endometrial cancer was anal yzed. Results:There were 17 cases(18.0%)of MMR protein expression deletion among 97 endometrial cancer patients(17/97),of which the single deletion rates of MSH6 and PMS2 were 2.0%(2 cases)and 5.0%(5cases),respectivel y,and MLH1 and MSH2 were not individuall y absent;the deletion rates of M LH1 combined with PMS2 and MSH2 combined with MSH6were 9.0%(9 cases)and 1.0%(1 case).MMR protein expression deficiency was statisticall y d ifferent from age,BM I,histological grade, whether menopause, clinical s ymptoms(P<0.05),and no statistical difference with tumor FIGO stage, differentiation degree, histological type, site of tumorigenesis, whether or not l ymph node metastasis was presen ted, whether or not vascular infiltration was presented, depth of m yocardial infiltration, and whether or not hypertension and history of diabetes mellitus were presented(P>0.05).After inclusion of statisticall y different variables in the univariate anal ysis,it was concluded on the basis of multifactorial anal ys is that MMR protein was more likel y to be deficient in expression in patients with lower BM I,menopausal,high-grade.All patients were followed up for 4-42 months with a median follow-up time of 12 months. Conclusion:MMR protein expression deficiency is more likel y to occur in patients with lower BMI,menopausal and high grade.
