Correlation Between Serum TACE Level With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated With Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease

objective:To investigate the correlation between serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha converting enzyme(TACE)level with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD).methods:A total of 73 T2 DM patients admitted to the fourth affiliated hospital of China medical university from September 2021 to December 2021 were gathered,including 31T2 DM patients without MAFLD(TM group)and 42 T2 DM patients with MAFLD(TF group);meantime,30 healthy people come to the physical examination center of our hospital were the control group(NC group).The basic data of the subjects were collected,and the serum TACE level was detected by ELISA.The serum TACE levels and baseline data of each group were compared;Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of MAFLD;ROC curve was applied to analyze the efficacy of TACE in diagnosing T2 DM patients with MAFLD.results:1.Baseline data comparison: body mass index,TACE,hemoglobin a1 c,fasting plasma glucose,total cholesterol and triglyceridemic of the TF group were higher than those of NC group(<0.05);Body mass index,TACE,hemoglobin a1 c,fasting plasma glucose,fasting C-peptide,triglyceridemic,alanine aminotransferase,C-reactive protein were higher in the TF group than the NC group,and the body mass index,TACE,hemoglobin a1 c,fasting plasma glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceridemic,alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,C-reactive protein were higher than those in the TM group(<0.05).Among them,the level of TACE increased in the NC group,TF group,TM group.2.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that TACE,triglyceridemic,fasting plasma glucose,and C-reactive protein were risk factors for MAFLD(<0.05).3.ROC curve showed that serum TACE had an AUC of 0.943 for the diagnosis of T2 DM combined with MAFLD,with a specificity of 76.5% and a sensitivity of 87%(<0.05).conclusion:The level of serum TACE in patients with T2 DM and MAFLD was elevated.TACE is an independent risk factor for T2 DM combined with MAFLD.
