Objective: To investigate the status quo of young and middle-aged stroke patients returning to work,and analyze the influencing factors of young and middle-aged stroke patients returning to work,so as to provide theoretical basis for relevant medical personnel to rehabilitate young and middle-aged stroke patients,and to help young and middle-aged stroke patients return to work,restore social function,improve quality of life and formulate intervention measures.Methods: Convenience sampling was adopted in this study,and 305 young and middle-aged stroke patients were continuously selected from the neurology outpatient department of a Grade A Hospital in Shenyang from September 2021 to August 2022.Data were collected in the form of questionnaire survey.The questionnaire included general demographic data,disease-related data,job-related data,The Work-ability Support Scale,General Self-Efficacy Scale and Social Support Rating Scale of young and middle-aged stroke patients.SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used for analysis,and descriptive statistics were used to describe the general demographic data,stroke disease related data,work-related data,work ability support,social support and general self-efficacy of young and middle-aged stroke patients.The Chi-square test,two independent sample t test and rank sum test were used to analyze the single factor of returning to work in young and middle-aged stroke patients.Binary Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of returning to work in young and middle-aged stroke patients.Results:1.In this study,300 middle-aged and young stroke patients were surveyed by questionnaire,237 of them returned to work,189 of them returned to work within half a year,210 of them did not change their work type,and 195 of them indicated that their current working status was good.2.Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in age,rehabilitation training,whether combined with other diseases,time to return to work,same type as original work,ability to return to work,personal factors,environmental factors,barriers to return to work,and general self-efficacy(P<0.10).3.Logistic regression analysis showed that there were significant differences in age,rehabilitation training,the same type of work as before,the ability to return to work and personal factors.(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The rate of returning to work after stroke decreased in young and middle-aged patients compared with those before stroke.2.Age,rehabilitation training,change in type of work,ability to return to work,and personal factors are factors influencing return to work in young and middle-aged stroke patients.
