Objective:To investigate the effects of preoperative intravenous injection of 0.05 and 0.1mg/kg nalbuphine on emergence agitation, perioperative hemodynamic indicators, postoperative adverse events, recovery time, sleep quality on the postoperative first day and parents’satisfaction in preschool children undergoing adenoidectomy, and compare those with normal saline control group.Methods:120 children with adenoid hypertrophy were randomly divided into N1 group,N2 group, and C group,40 cases in each group.Adenoidectomy was performed in each group.Group N1 and N2 were injected with 0.05 and 0.1 mg/kg nalbuphine hydrochloride injection slowly before operation, and group C was injected with the same volume of normal saline slowly before operation. The incidence of emergence agitation, severity of emergence agitation, perioperative hemodynamic indicators, operation time, recovery time, extubation time, stay time of postanesthesia care unit, adverse events, postoperative the first night’s sleep and parents’satisfaction were compared among the groups. Results:Compared with group C,the incidence of emergence agitation of general anesthesia was lower in group N2(P<0.05).Compared with group C,the PAED scores at T3 time point in group N1 and T0-T3 time point in group N2 were lower(both P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in MAP,HR and Sp O2at T0,T1,T2,T3,T4 among the three groups(all P>0.05).Compared with group C,the recovery time in group N2 was longer, and the stay time in postanesthesia care unit was shorter in group N1 and group N2(both P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in adverse events among the three groups(all P>0.05).Compared with group C,groups N1 and N2 had fewer awakenings and longer sleep duration on the first night after surgery(both P<0.05).Compared with group C,parents in groups N1 and N2 were more satisfied with the anesthesia(P<0.05).Conclusion:Preoperative intravenous injection of 0.05 mg/kg nalbuphine cannot effectively reduce the incidence and severity of emergence agitation of general anesthesia in children.Compared with intravenous injection of 0.05 mg/kg nalbuphine, preoperative intravenous injection of 0.1 mg/kg nalbuphine has a significant effect on preventing the incidence of emergence agitation and the severity.Preoperative intravenous injection of0.05 mg/kg or 0.1 mg/kg in children during the recovery period has stable hemodynamics, fewer adverse events, and can improve the postoperative sleep quality of children on the first night after surgery and improve parents’satisfaction with anesthesia. |
