| Objective: The abnormal gait left by stroke patients often leads to decreased walking ability and affects the quality of life.Currently, there is insufficient clinical data on the rapid and effective improvement of a hemiplegic gait. The purpose of this experiment was to study the improvement effect of the overground exoskeleton combined with routine rehabilitation treatment on the walking ability and abnormal gait of stroke patients. The abnormal gait left by stroke patients often leads to decreased walking ability and affects the quality of life.At present, there is insufficient clinical data on rapid and effective improvement of hemiplegic gait. The purpose of this experiment was to study the improvement effect of the overground exoskeleton combined with routine rehabilitation treatment on walking ability and abnormal gait of stroke patients. Methods: A total of 47 stroke patients admitted to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,The First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from June 2021 to December 2022 were collected. The patients were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The control group received conventional drug therapy, physical factor therapy and lower limb exercise therapy, and the experimental group received gait training with lower limb robot on the basis of control group,25 minutes a day,6 days a week, for 2 weeks. Before and two weeks after treatment, the patients in both groups were evaluated gait(gait analyzer),walking ability(Functional Ambulation Category scale,FAC;Timed Up and Go test,TUG),balance ability(Berg Balance Scale,BBS),motor function(Lower Extremity of the Fugl-Meyer Assessment,FMA-LE),ability to perform activities of daily living(Barthel index,BI).Results: 1.Before treatment, there were no significant differences in FAC rating,TUG score,BBS score,FMA-LE score,BI score, and gait parameters(step length, speed, foot Angle off the ground, thigh swing work, thigh twitch acceleration, ground impact force, and single leg support)between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.After 2 weeks of treatment,FAC rating,TUG score,BBS score,FMA-LE score,BI score and gait parameters(speed, thigh swing work and single leg support difference)of the control group were improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).3.After 2 weeks of treatment, the FAC rating,TUG score,BBS score,FMA-LE score,BI score and gait parameters(step length, speed,Angle of foot off the ground, thigh swing work, thigh twitch acceleration and difference value of single leg support)of the experimental group were improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).4.After 2 weeks of treatment, comparison between the two groups showed that the FAC rating,TUG score,BBS score,FMA-LE score,BI score and gait parameters(step length, speed and difference value of single leg support)of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The overground exoskeleton combined with routine rehabilitation treatment can significantly improve the walking ability, balance function, lower limb motor function and daily living ability of hemiplegia patients in a short period of time. |
