| Objective: The Diastasis recti abdominis(DRA)often occurs in the third trimester of pregnancy,and it is common among women of childbearing age,which affects the quality of life of postpartum women to varying degrees and brings a heavy burden to individuals,families and society.In this study,the patients with postpartum Diastasis recti abdominis were intervened by diaphragmatic breathing training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation,and the clinical effect of diaphragmatic breathing training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation was analyzed,so as to provide theoretical reference and data support for the clinical rehabilitation of postpartum Diastasis recti abdominis in women.Methods: In this study,56 patients with postpartum rectus abdominis separation were recruited and eventually included in Sichuan Jinxin Women and Children Hospital,including 27 patients in the combined intervention group and 29 patients in the electrical stimulation group.The combined intervention group received diaphragmatic breathing training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation;The electrical stimulation group was treated with neuromuscular electrical stimulation,and both groups were treated three times a week for 8 weeks.To observe the clinical effect of diaphragm breathing training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation in the intervention of postpartum Diastasis recti abdominis by evaluating and comparing the Diastasis recti abdominis severity,abdominal wall function and quality of life before and after intervention.Among them,⑴ Index of Diastasis recti abdominis severity: Using vernier caliper and transabdominal ultrasound imaging to measure Inter rectus distance(IRD);⑵ Index of Abdominal wall function: trunk flexion test was used to evaluate the muscle strength of rectus abdominis by hand;Intra-abdominal Pressure(IAP)was measured by pressure biofeedback unit;Abdominal circumference was measured by soft tape measure;⑶ Index of Quality of life: Visual analogue scale(VAS)was used to evaluate the severity of low back pain;Physical Functioning 10(PF-10)is used to evaluate general physical function;MBSRQ(The Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire)was used to evaluate the self-body intention.SPSS21.0 was used for data analysis,and the independent sample T test method was used for inter-group analysis of test results,and the paired sample T test method was used for intra-group analysis.Results:(1)Diastasis recti abdominis severity: Before and after the 8-week intervention,the caliper-measured rectus abdominis spacing and ultrasound-measured rectus abdominis spacing decreased in both the combined treatment group and the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).before and after the 8-week intervention,the combined treatment group was superior to the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).(2)Abdominal wall function:(1)Before and after the 8-week intervention,the rectus abdominis muscle strength increased in both the combined treatment group and the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).before and after the 8-week intervention,there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Before and after the 8-week intervention,intra-abdominal pressure increased in both the combined treatment group and the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).before and after the 8-week intervention,the combined treatment group was superior to the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(3)Before and after the 8-week intervention,abdominal circumference decreased in both the combined treatment group and the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).before and after the 8-week intervention,the combined treatment group was superior to the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(3)Quality of life:(1)VAS score of low back: Before and after 8 weeks of intervention,the lumbar VAS score decreased in both the combined treatment group and the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).before and after 8 weeks of intervention,the combined treatment group was better than the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(2)PF-10 score: Before and after the 8-week intervention,the PF-10 score increased in both the combined treatment group and the electrical stimulation group,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01);at the 16-week follow-up,the PF-10 score was significantly higher than that before the intervention,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups at the 16-week follow-up(P>0.05).(3)MBSRQ score: Before and after the 8-week intervention,AE scores,AO scores,and BS scores increased in the combined treatment and electrical stimulation groups,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01);at the 16-week follow-up,AE,AO,and BS scores were higher than those before the intervention,and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).>0.05)and there was a highly significant statistical difference in BS scores(P<0.001),and at the 16-week follow-up,there was no statistical difference in AE and AO scores(P>0.05)and a statistical difference in BS scores(P<0.05)between the two groups.Conclusions:(1)Diaphragm breathing training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation and neuromuscular electrical stimulation for 8 weeks and three times a week can effectively improve the Diastasis recti abdominis severity,abdominal wall function and quality of life.(2)Diaphragm breathing training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation for 8 weeks and three times a week is superior to neuromuscular electrical stimulation in improving the Diastasis recti abdominis severity,maintaining intra-abdominal pressure,reducing abdominal circumference,improving the severity of low back pain and increasing abdominal/waist satisfaction;And can produce lasting effects in increasing abdominal/waist satisfaction and improving the severity low back pain. |
