Objective:This study investigated the risk factors of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC)and established predictive models to provide evidence for reducing the incidence of clinical neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis. Methods:A retrospective case-control study was used to collect 92 children with NEC who were hospitalized and diagnosed in the Department of Neonatology of Sichuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2017 to December 2021.920 children without NEC in the same period were selected as the control group according to the 1:1matching ratio.Compare the relevant data of the two groups of newborns, use t test or X~2 test to screen the univariate variables that have influence on the occurrence of NEC,and then multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to screen the independent risk factors of necrotizing enterocolitis in newborns and to establish a clinical prediction model. Results:Single factor result analysis showed that whether the mother suffered from subclinical hypothyroidism, gestational hypertension, intrahepatic cholestasis, and whether the newborn was using probiotics, antibiotics,UVC,PDA,sepsis, neonatal anemia, delivery method, feeding mode, birth weight, hemochromatin,CRP,time to achieve total enteral nutrition, blood transfusion, and length of hospital stay in the NEC and control groups were compared,All differences were considered statistically significant(P<0.05).Further analysis by multiple logistic regression analysis showed that delivery mode, antibiotic use, birth weight, time to reach total enteral nutrition, blood transfusion, and feeding mode were all independent risk factors for the development of NEC in neonates(P<0.05).The area under the ROC curve was 0.935,indicating that the established prediction model had high discrimination efficacy and was helpful in the clinic for early identification of high-risk children.
