| Purpose:Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)is the most common neurodevelopmental disorder in childhood,which will cause multiple functional injuries and increase mental health risks in adulthood.The study conducted a horizontal comparison of ADHD children aged 6-11 years from age,gender,clinical subtypes,to understand the correlation with their behavioral problems,so as to provide a basis for early identification of ADHD and behavioral problems,reduce the incidence of comorbidities,improve the social adaptability of ADHD children.Objects and methods:500 children with ADHD diagnosed in Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Women and Children from 2019 to 2022 were recruited in the study.Clinical interviews(The Diagnosisand Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-V,DSM-V),intelligence assessment(Wechsler Child Intelligence Scale,WISC-III),behavior assessment(Conners Parental Symptom Questionnaire,PSQ and Achenbach Child Behavior Scale,CBCL)were conducted.SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used to sort out and analyze the data,so as to analyze the characteristics of behavioral problems of ADHD children of different subtypes,genders and ages.Result:1.Among 500 children aged 6-11(under 12 years old)with ADHD,there were 291 cases(58.2%)of attention deficit dominant type,35 cases(7.0%)of hyperactivity/impulse dominant type(ADHD-HI)and 174 cases(34.8%)of mixed type(ADHD-C).There were 409(81.8%)males and 91(18.2%)females;There were 403 cases(80.6%)aged 6-8 years and 97 cases(19.4%)aged 9-11 years.80.60%of patients have learning problems,32.8%had aggressive behavior,about 20%had depression and social withdrawal,and 27.8%of them have externalized or internalized sexual behavior problems.2.In Conners parental symptom questionnaire,conduct problems in children with ADHD-C were significantly higher than that in children with ADHD-I(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in learning problems,psychosomatic disorders and anxiety among all types.3.In the CBCL,the scores of depression,discipline violation,aggression,externalized behavior problems,obsessiveness,hyperactivity and behavior problems of ADHD-C children were significantly higher(P<0.05)than those of ADHD-I children.The scores of activity ability,social ability,depression,somatic complaint,dissociative compulsion and internalized behavior of girls were significantly higher(P<0.05)than those of boys.The scores of discipline violation,bad communication and compulsion of boys were significantly higher(P<0.05)than those of girls.Conclusion:Most children with ADHD have behavioral problems,and different subtypes,ages and genders have different behavioral problems and social function damage;ADHD-C has more prominent problems in depression,violation of discipline,aggression,externalized behavior problems and compulsion.More attention and personalized intervention should be paid to the behavioral problems of patients. |
