ObjectiveTo observe the effects of cold and wet application of Compound Scutellaria Baicalin Application on laboratory parameters(peripheral blood white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil count(NE),C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR))and clinical symptoms in the treatment of lower limb dermatitis, and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Compound Scutellaria Baicalin Application in the treatment of lower limb dermatitis.MethodsThe 72 patients with lower extremity dermatosis collected were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group was given conventional treatment(antibiotics combined with Chinese medicine)and cold and wet application of compound baicalin application;the control group was given conventional treatment and cold and wet application of magnesium sulfate solution. The clinical efficacy of cold and wet application of compound Scutellaria baicalensis application in the treatment of damp-heat poisonous lower extremity dermatosis was evaluated by comparing the changes of laboratory indexes and clinical symptom scores of the two groups before and after treatment.Results1.There was no statistically significant difference between the baseline data and pre-treatment conditions of the two groups(P>0.05).2.WBC,NE,CRP: the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)when comparing within groups, after treatment and before treatment, and comparing day 4 with day7 and day 10 of treatment in both groups.WBC,NE and CRP showed a decreasing trend from before treatment to day 7 of treatment. There was no statistically significant difference between day 7 and day 10 of treatment(P>0.05).The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)on day 4 of treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group;the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)on day 7 and10 of treatment.3.ESR: In intra-group comparison, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups after treatment and before treatment, between day 4 and day 7 and day 10 of treatment, and between day 7 and day 10 of treatment(P<0.05).ESR tended to decrease after treatment. The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)on day 4,day 7 and day 10 of treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group.4.skin temperature and skin color scores: the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)when comparing the two groups within the group, after treatment and before treatment,on day 4 versus day 7 and day 10 of treatment, and on day 7 versus day 10 of treatment.Skin temperature and skin color scores showed a decreasing trend after treatment. The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)on day 4,day 7 and day10 of treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group.5.Swelling and pain scores: for intra-group comparison, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups on day 4 of treatment and before treatment(P>0.05),and there was a statistically significant difference between day 7 and 10 of treatment and before treatment, day 4 of treatment, and day 7 of treatment and day 10 of treatment(P<0.05),and the post-treatment swelling and pain scores showed a decreasing trend from day 4 onwards. The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)on day 4,day 7 and day 10 of treatment, and the treatment group was superior to the control group.6.Clinical efficacy: the overall effective rate of the treatment group was 97.2%;the overall effective rate of the control group was 77.8%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.No adverse events occurred during the treatment period in the two groups, and no significant toxic side effects of the tested drugs were observed.Conclusion1.The cold and wet application of Compound Scutellaria Baicalin Application can play a better therapeutic role together with the conventional treatment regimen of anti-infection,which can improve the inflammation reaction faster,so that the symptoms of local redness, swelling and heat pain of the affected limbs can be relieved significantly and the cure rate can be improved.2.No significant adverse reactions occurred in the treatment of lower extremity tinea.
