Objective:This topic through clinical observation and evaluation of extracorporeal shock wave(Extracorporeal Shock Wave,ESW)through the treatment of plantar fasciitis(Plantar Fasciitis,PF),to explore the clinical value of extracorporeal shock wave through the treatment of plantar fasciitis, provide certain reference for clinical treatment of PF.Methods:From December 2021 to October 2022,70 patients with PF who met the inclusion criteria were treated in the outpatient department of orthopedics and traumatology of Zhangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and experimental group,35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with health education + Celecoxib Capsules + Lower Limb Washing Prescription, and the experimental group was treated with extracorporeal shock wave meridian therapy on the basis of the control group. The VAS pain score,AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score, clinical efficacy and recurrence rate within 3 months after treatment were statistically analyzed before treatment,1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment. The collected data were statistically analyzed with SPSS 23.0 to draw conclusions.Result:1.There was no significant difference in the basic information of gender, age and limb distribution between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.There was no significant difference in VAS pain score and AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).3.VAS pain score : Intra-group comparison : The VAS pain scores of the two groups at 4treatment time points were compared in pairs. The VAS pain scores decreased with the treatment time, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups : At the first week of treatment, there was no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(P > 0.05);the VAS pain scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group at the second and fourth weeks of treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score : Intra-group comparison : the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score of the two groups at 4 time points was compared in pairs, and the score increased with time, with statistical difference(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups : there was no significant difference between the two groups in the first week of treatment(P > 0.05);compared with the second and fourth weeks of treatment, the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Clinical efficacy : The effective rates of the control group and the experimental group were90.63 % and 96.97 %,respectively, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.Recurrence rate within 3 months after treatment : the recurrence rate of the control group was 28.1 %,and the recurrence rate of the experimental group was 9.1 %.The number of recurrence cases between the two groups after 3 months of treatment was compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:ESW has a good clinical effect in the treatment of PF,which can effectively relieve foot pain, improve ankle function and reduce clinical recurrence rate.
