Objective:By comparing the clinical efficacy of inverted horse acupuncture combined with bloodletting therapy and external application of diclofenac diethylamine emulsion in the treatment of stenotic tenosynovitis of radial styloid process, provides a more optimized treatment method to enhance the curative effect, shorten the course of treatment.Methods:Sixty-six patients with stenotic tenosynovitis of the radial styloid process of qi stagnation and blood stasis type who meet the research criteria of this topic were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 33 patients in each group. The treatment group was treated with inverted horse acupuncture combined with bloodletting therapy. The acupuncture points were taken from the healthy side of the Chongzi and Chongxian acupoints. The doctor simultaneously injected one needle on each of the Chongzi and Chongxian acupoints with both hands, and the needle was directly injected for about 5 fens. After de qi,the needle was left for 30 minutes.Do not hand-manipulating of needles, and it was given 3 times per week. One week was a course of treatment, lasting for 2 therapeutic courses.Blood letting therapy was performed on the affected radial styloid process at the first and third acupuncture treatments per week, twice per week, for one course of treatment lasting for two courses. In the control group, diclofenac diethylamine emulsion was applied externally, three times a day,one week as a course of treatment, lasting for two courses.Observe the visual analogue score(VAS score),maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint, serum CRP,and TNF-α,before and after treatment in both groups. And evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups. All data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software.Results:1.A total of 66 patients with stenotic tenosynovitis of the radial styloid process due to qi stagnation and blood stasis were included in this study, and a total of 62 cases were ultimately completed(including 3 cases in the treatment group and 1 case in the control group, with a total dropout rate of 6.06%).2.Before treatment, the VAS score, maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint, serum CRP and TNF-α in the two groups. The difference in content was not statistically significant(P>0.05)and was comparable.3.Visual simulation score(VAS score): after 2 weeks of treatment, compared with the group before treatment, both treatments can reduce the VAS score, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the treatment group was superior to the control group in reducing VAS score, with statistical difference(P<0.05).4.Maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint: after 2 weeks of treatment, both groups could increase the maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the treatment group was superior to the control group in increasing the maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint, with a statistical difference(P<0.05).5.Serum CRP and TNF-α content: After 2 weeks of treatment, the two groups can reduce serum CRP and TNF-α level(P<0.05);Compared with other groups, the treatment group decreased serum CRP and TNF-α level was similar to that of the control group(P>0.05).6.Clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 81.25%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Combination of inverted horse acupuncture combined with bloodletting therapy, and external application of diclofenac diethylamine emulsion in reducing serum CRP and TNF-αlevel in patients with stenotic tenosynovitis of radial styloid process due to qi stagnation and blood stasis. The therapeutic effect is equivalent in terms of content.2.Both inverted horse acupuncture combined with blood letting therapy and external application of diclofenac diethylamine emulsion in the treatment of stenotic tenosynovitis of the radial styloid process due to qi stagnation and blood stasis can reduce VAS scores and increase the maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint. However, inverted horse acupuncture combined with blood letting therapy is more prominent in reducing VAS scores and increasing the maximum ulnar deviation movement of wrist joint, and is worth promoting.
