Clinical Observation Of Combined Jiawei Zhuye Shigao Decoction With Gout Patch For The Treatment Of Acute Gout Arthritis Damp-Heat Accumulation Syndrome

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the combination of internal and external treatment of Acute Gouty Arthritis(AGA)damp-heat accumulation syndrome with Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction and Gout Patch,to explore the improvement of joint symptoms and signs and adverse reactions of AGA patients with damp-heat accumulation syndrome treated by Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction with Gout Patch,and to provide a safe and effective treatment methods and drugs for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of AGA.Methods This study mainly adopts randomized,controlled research methods,a total of 64 cases of AGA damp-heat accumulation syndrome patients,including 33 cases in the treatment group and 31 cases in the control group.On the basic treatment,the treatment group was given internal treatment with Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction and external application of Gout Patch on the painful joints,while the control group was given internal treatment with Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction,The course of treatment was 7 days in both groups.During the whole study,the efficacy and safety indicators were recorded,and the results were analysed according to SPSS25.0 statistical software,to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction with Gout Patch in treating AGA damp-heat accumulation syndrome.Results1.Total efficacy rate of TCM symptoms: 87.88% in the treatment group and 74.19%in the control group,the effect of the treatment group was more prominent(P <0.05);total points of TCM symptoms: both groups were lower than before treatment,and the efficacy of the observation group was better(P<0.05).2.The four main symptoms(joint pain,swelling,activity limitation,pressure pain)and four minor symptoms(fever,thirst,restlessness,yellow urine)in both groups were improved after treatment(P<0.05).3.VAS scores of both groups were decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of joint pain in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0.05).4.ESR and CRP in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing inflammatory indexes(P<0.05).5.The uric acid in both groups was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),but the degree of uric acid reduction in the two groups did not produce a significant difference(P > 0.05),which was considered that Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction and Gout Patch can both exert some uric acid-lowering effect.6.The safety indicators of the two groups: there were no significant difference in blood routine(WBC,RBC,Hb,PLT),liver and kidney function(ALT,AST,BUN,Cr),ECG,stool routine and urine routine before treatment(P>0.05).7.The number of people taking diclofenac sodium enteric soluble tablets and the duration of dosing in the trial: the comparison showed that the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).8.In the trial,one patient in the treatment group had pruritus and one patient in the control group had mild diarrhoea,Comparison showed that no serious adverse events occurred in either group(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction + Gout Patch can significantly reduce patients’ inflammation index and VAS score,improve clinical symptoms and signs,and effectively relieve patients’ joint swelling and pain.2.Jiawei Zhuye Shigao decoction + Gout Patch has good curative effect and high safety,and no serious adverse reaction occurred in the course of treatment,so it is worth spreading in clinical application.
