Contribution And Reflection On The Overseas Spread Of Traditional Chinese Medicine By Taiwanese Physician Wu.Wei-Ping

The purpose of this study is to analyze the growth background of Wu.Wei-Ping,a Taiwan traditional Chinese medicine doctor,and the world communication behavior of Traditional Chinese medicine,and to explore the effective training methods of TCM talents and overseas communication of TCM.This study mainly adopts the interview method and literature research method.The author visited Changzhou city,Jiangsu Province,Wu’s hometown,and contacted with Wu.Wei-Ping’s grandson to collect relevant materials about Wu.Wei-Ping’s growth and promoting the overseas dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine and some books published by Wu.Wu.Wei-Ping,a famous Chinese medicine doctor in Taiwan,was born in 1916 in Wujin Mahang(now Wujin High-tech Zone,Changzhou City,Jiangsu Province).He died in Taiwan in 1992 at the age of 76.Study medicine since childhood,excellent level of diagnosis and treatment,benefit the village.Since his arrival in Taiwan in 1952,Wu has opened a traditional Chinese medicine hospital,compiled books on traditional Chinese medicine,established TCM academic groups,extensively received students and went abroad to exchange and publicize.With Taiwan as the base,Wu has successfully spread TCM overseas.Wu.Wei-Ping was born in southern Jiangsu,economic developed,cultural prosperity,talent,medical schools emerge in endlessly,meng medical school,wu door medical school,jinling medical school,chengjiang acupuncture school,dragon sand school,zhu typhoid fever after years of inheritance,in modern booming,formed the southern region on the basis of the classic,clinical as the center,inheritance,the characteristics of transmission as own duty.Wu.Wei-Ping learned traditional Chinese medicine from his father’s career.At the age of 18,he opened "Wu.Wei-Ping Surgery and laryngeal Clinic",and soon grew into a famous doctor in Wujin area.Wu.Wei-Ping opened Wujin Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society at the age of 22,and distributed acupuncture notes.His disciples came from Jiangsu,Beijing,Shanghai and other places.Wu.Wei-Ping by wu culture inclusive,open huitong,the influence of innovation and development,fully inherited the various academic schools of TCM open inclusive,achieve mastery through a comprehensive,objective and fair,continuity,brave responsibility,with home,countries,the traditional ideas,formed the quintessence classics,the world common inheritance of social responsibility.After arriving in Taiwan in 1952,Wu.Wei-Ping took reviving acupuncture and moxibustion as his own responsibility,founded a traditional Chinese medicine clinic,and established the Taipei Acupuncture Association.Wu.Wei-Ping sorted out the theory of acupuncture and moxibustion and popularized TCM therapy,gathered TCM talents,and relied on the team strength to gradually expand the influence of TCM in the world.Wu.Wei-Ping compiled 13 works on Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion,such as Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion,Wu.Wei-Ping Acupuncture and the Acupuncture and moxibustion Ceremony,established the establishment of a Chinese Acupuncture and moxibustion hospital(Taiwan),and established the Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society(Taiwan),thus making Chinese medicine take root in Taiwan.Relying on acupuncture and moxibustion organizations,the influence of TCM has been extended to all parts of the world by holding international conferences,opening TCM workshops,speaking abroad,free medical consultations,receiving students,and supporting foreign TCM colleges and universities.Wu’s students cover 62 countries and regions,with 3,000 people.His disciples founded Chinese medicine colleges and academic groups in France,Britain,the United States and other places.The books on Chinese medicine compiled by Wu.Wei-Ping were translated into English,French and Spanish,sowing the seeds of Chinese medicine around the world.At home and abroad,Wu.Wei-Ping has gained many honors due to his solid theoretical foundation and remarkable clinical efficacy.Wu.Wei-Ping has received honorary doctorate degrees from the International University of Ceylon,The Free University of Pakistan,The British School of Acupuncture,the American School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and the University of Martin of Chinese Hong Kong.He was also awarded as the "Father of International Acupuncture and Moxibustion","Commander of International Acupuncture and Moxibustion" and "Acupuncture Supervisor",and was known as the "Three Famous Masters of World Acupuncture and Moxibustion" with Dr.Delafi of France and Dr.Yanagi of Japan.Wu.Wei-Ping is a practitioner of cross-cultural communication.From TCM skills learning to TCM spirit inheritance,from individual family transmission mode to worldwide dissemination,Wu.Wei-Ping’s solid foundation of TCM and an open and inclusive attitude have made him an excellent cross-cultural communicator.In the overseas spread of traditional Chinese medicine,wu began with curative effect of Chinese medicine,relying on the technology and theory of traditional Chinese medicine,make the Chinese traditional excellent culture recognized around the world,grasp the Chinese and foreign different cultural background,the consistency of people understanding of health,from relieving symptoms to spiritual healing,by adjusting the body itself to achieve the purpose of cure.Wu.Wei-Ping advocated that on the basis of TCM classical theory,we should treat the development of TCM with an inclusive attitude,strengthen the communication and contact of TCM at home and abroad,and promote the global development of TCM with an attitude of sharing beauty and beauty.This study is a practice of anthropology life history research,which enriches the study of Chinese local communicators in the study of Western TCM.With hui-ping wu as a research object,with the help of the perspective of anthropology,wu international communication case of traditional Chinese medicine,from the thoughts of traditional Chinese medicine,the cause of different culture background,and common cross-cultural communication focus on the cultural quality of traditional Chinese medicine and excellent cross-cultural exchange level,and in terms of traditional Chinese medicine,from the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese medicine culture atmosphere,strengthen Chinese medicine culture confidence three aspects to improve the quality of the communication of traditional Chinese medicine overseas of zhenhai.
