Clinical Interning is the transition stage for nursing students from school to work.It is also a key period for the formation of nursing students’ professional identity.Nursing students’ professional identity may change greatly in this stage,and even affect whether nursing students will continue to choose nursing work after graduation.On the basis of sorting out relevant research literature at home and abroad and grasping the basic dynamics of relevant research at home and abroad,590 nursing students from three health schools in A City,B City and C City were selected as research samples.Questionnaires were conducted before and after the internship(after6 months).To understand the changes in the overall level and structural differences of professional identity of secondary vocational nursing students before and after practice.The results showed that the professional identity of secondary vocational nursing students was at the medium level,and the level of professional identity of nursing students decreased significantly after internship compared with that before internship.In terms of gender,place of origin,subjectivity of major choice,voluntary experience or not,academic performance,class work experience,internship unit,internship experience,occupational cognition,etc.,There are statistical differences in the level of professional identity among nursing students of different categories.The main reasons for the change of occupation identity of secondary vocational nursing students after clinical practice are the lack of occupation cognition,the lack of occupation protection and the loose management of hospital practice.Therefore,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in order to strengthen the professional identity of secondary vocational nursing students:(1)deepen their professional cognition and strengthen their willingness to practice;(2)strengthen practical teaching and improve their application ability;(3)close cooperation between colleges and universities,strengthen the guidance of practice;(4)the whole society to participate and promote the development of nursing students.
