| Objective : The aim of this study is to investigate the clinical effect of head acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy in the treatment of spastic paralysis of upper limbs after stroke, and to verify the clinical effectiveness of head acupuncture therapy based on the concept of "the unity of form and spirit" in Chinese medicine,in order to provide a more effective treatment plan and practical basis for clinical practice. Methods:According to the nadir criteria of this clinical trial,72 patients with spastic paralysis of the upper limbs after stroke who were eligible for this study were selected. The patients in the group were randomly divided into 36 patients in the treatment group(head acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy)and 36 patients in the control group(conventional rehabilitation therapy),and the general data, muscle tone, motor function, activities of daily living, and clinical efficacy of the two groups were evaluated, and the clinical data obtained were compared using the corresponding statistical analysis,so that the corresponding results could be obtained and the corresponding conclusions could be drawn.Results:1.General data analysis: There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, stroke type, and upper limb affected side(P > 0.05).2.Ashworth classification: A comparison between the two groups of patients after treatment was performed, and a rank sum test yielded a statistical difference between the two groups,Z=-2.236,P=0.025<0.05,indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the spasticity of the affected limbs of the patients.3.FMA score: A comparison between the two groups of patients after treatment was performed, and after the rank sum test,it was concluded that Z=-2.072,P=0.038<0.05,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups, indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving patients’ motor function.4.Barthel index: A comparison between the two groups of patients after treatment was performed, and after the rank sum test,it was concluded that Z=-2.158,P=0.031<0.05,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups, indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living.5.Clinical efficacy: 5 cases were clinically cured,6 cases were apparently effective,14 cases were effective, and 7 cases were invalid in the treatment group, with a clinical efficiency of 78.13%;2 cases were clinically cured,1 case was apparently effective,17 cases were effective, and 11 cases were invalid in the control group, with a clinical efficiency of 64.52%.After the rank sum test,Z=-2.030,P=0.042 < 0.05,there was a statistical difference between the two groups, indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in clinical efficacy.Conclusion:1.Head acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy is better than rehabilitation therapy alone in reducing the spasticity of the affected limb and improving the motor function and daily living ability of the patient.2.Head acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy is superior to rehabilitation therapy alone in terms of clinical efficacy in the treatment of spastic paralysis of the upper limbs after stroke.3.The head acupuncture therapy based on the concept of "the unity of form and spirit" is clinically effective in the treatment of spastic paralysis of the upper limbs after stroke. |
