Objective: This study was conducted to summarize the medical cases of Qing dynasty physicians in the treatment of vomiting and to explore the rules of medicine used by Qing dynasty physicians in the treatment of vomiting,so as to better explore,organize and pass on the experience of the predecessors,with a view to further reference for modern Chinese medicine clinics.Methods: The Chinese Medical Dictionary software was searched for monographs on the treatment of vomiting in the Qing Dynasty,and the names of all the Chinese herbal medicines were standardised and standardised.The symptoms,tongue and pulse,and herbal formulas were then entered into the TCM Heritage Assist Platform analysis software,and the analysis module was used to analyse the herbal medicines,statistics on tongue and pulse,and cluster analysis,in order to analyse the characteristics of the treatment of vomiting by Qing Dynasty doctors.Results:1.A total of 141 medical cases of vomiting in the Chinese Medical Canon that met the inclusion requirements were included,with 228 Chinese herbal medicines and a total frequency of 1663 times.The highest frequency was red tongue(11 times),followed by red tongue(10 times);the highest frequency was yellow tongue coating(25 times);the highest frequency was yellow pulse(22 times),followed by stringy pulse(18 times),with more cases of damp-heat.3.Drug properties: mainly warm and bitter drugs entering the spleen meridian,and mostly heat-clearing and phlegm-transforming drugs were used,which is consistent with the conclusion that there are mostly damp-heat symptoms in the data.4.Cluster analysis was performed on the drugs in the vomiting medical cases to obtain12 core combinations of new prescriptions and summarize six new prescriptions.5.Correlation analysis of the drugs yielded 44 pairs of commonly used drug combinations,with the three groups with the highest frequency being: Ban Xia-Fu Ling,Chen Pi-Fu Ling,and Ban Xia-Chen Pi.Conclusion: Qing dynasty physicians were good at using warming drugs and also cold and flat drugs in the treatment of vomiting;the treatment of vomiting was mainly applied to the spleen and stomach meridians,followed by the lung,heart and liver meridians.In conclusion,heat,phlegm and deficiency were the main pathological factors in vomiting cases in the Qing dynasty,and in treatment,emphasis was placed on clearing heat,resolving phlegm and dispelling dampness,as well as tonifying the spleen and stomach. |
