| Objective:By observing abdominal acupuncture and traditional acupuncture for migraine(liver Yang),conducting objective analysis and evaluating of two therapies, and observing the effectiveness of abdominal acupuncture treatment in migraine treatment,we tried to provide treatment options with more obvious effects and higher acceptance for migraine patients. Methods:The 72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into 36 patients in the treatment group(abdominal needle treatment)and the control group(traditional acupuncture treatment).Treatment frequency in both groups was repeated every other day for 15 days, for a total of 2 courses. The differences between abdominal and body needle therapy were compared by VAS before and after treatment(visual analogue score)and headache score scale, respectively. Results:When 72 cases were collected,63 were actually completed, including 9 were off(5in treatment group and 4 in control group).Time to trial completion: 31 patients in the treatment group and 32 patients in the control group.1.Sex,age,duration and statistical analysis P> 0.05,indicating that sex,age and duration were comparable between the two groups.2.Comparison of the VAS scores:(1)Comparison between groups: The statistical analysis of the two pretreatment groups showed a P> 0.05,indicating that the VAS scores were comparable between the two groups before treatment.Statistical analysis of VAS scores in both groups showed P<0.05,indicating that abdominal acupuncture treatment responded better to headache than traditional body needle therapy.(2)Within-group comparison: After statistical analysis, the VAS scores before and after treatment in both groups were statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that the two treatment methods had significant effects on the treatment of this disease.3.Headache score comparison:(1)Within-group comparison: The total score of headache and the four dimensions of headache were P <0.05,indicating that both treatments could improve the pain level, attack frequency, duration and concomitant symptoms.(2)Comparison between groups: According to statistical analysis, the total score of headache and headache score in the first two groups were comparable(P> 0.05),the total score, pain degree and number of attacks of the two groups were less than 0.05,and the duration and P value of accompanying symptoms were greater than 0.05,indicating that the pain degree, number of attacks and total score were better than that of traditional acupuncture. There was no significant difference in the duration of headache and the improvement of concomitant symptoms.4.Comparison of total efficacy between the two groups: the total effective rate of abdominal acupuncture group was 93.33%,and that of traditional acupuncture group was87.88%.Through the chi-square test, the efficacy of the two groups was significantly different, and the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group. Conclusion:Both abdominal acupuncture and traditional acupuncture have good therapeutic results for migraine.Abdominal acupuncture treatment can reduce the headache degree of migraine patients, improve the number of attacks of migraine patients, the effect is better. To observe the total efficacy, the efficacy of abdominal acupuncture in the treatment group was more optimized than the traditional acupuncture in the control group. |
