Objective: The clinical efficacy of the electro-acupuncture technique "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" and the oral administration of Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill in the treatment of depressed liver qi symptoms is observed in order to provide a more effective and safe method for the clinical treatment of depressed liver qi symptoms.Methods: In this experiment,64 subjects who met the inclusion criteria from the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of the Third Clinical Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups by the random number table method.The "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electro-acupuncture group uses the electro-acupuncture method of "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" as the treatment plan,with acupoints including Baihui,Shenting,Feishu,Pishu,Shenshu,Hegu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Taichong,Neiguan,Danzhong,Ganshu,and Qimen.The electro-acupuncture was selected as the sparse and dense wave,and 6d was a course of treatment,with 1d rest between courses,and 4 consecutive courses of treatment.In the Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group,30 capsules of Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill were taken orally,2 times/d,half an hour before or one hour after meals,with warm water.7d was the duration of the treatment,and 4 consecutive courses of treatment were given.The Hamilton Depression Inventory(HAMD),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Chinese Medicine Evidence Rating Scale were selected as the observation indicators,and SPSS25.0 was selected for data processing and analysis.Results:1.The total effective rate of "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electroacupuncture group was 87.10%,while the total effective rate of Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group was 75.76%.The clinical efficacy of "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electroacupuncture group was better than Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group in the treatment of depressive symptoms of liver qi,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).2.The Hamilton Depression Scale scores were significantly lower in both groups after treatment,and the "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electroacupuncture group was better than Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).3.The Self-Rating Depression Scale scores were significantly lower in both groups after treatment,and the "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electroacupuncture group was better than Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).4.The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale scores were significantly lower in both groups after treatment,and the "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electroacupuncture group was better than Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).5.After treatment,the TCM symptoms scores improved in both groups,and the "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electro-acupuncture group was better than Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill group.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electro-acupuncture and oral Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill therapy have good clinical efficacy in improving depressive symptoms of liver qi,and "Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electro-acupuncture is better than oral Chai Hu Shu Gan Pill.2."Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electroacupuncture was effective in improving the Hamilton Depression Scale,the Depression Self-Rating Scale,the Anxiety Self-Rating Scale and the Chinese Medicine Evidence Scale.3."Adjust Zang-fu and Release Depression" electro-acupuncture therapy is an effective treatment for the depression of liver qi,easy to operate,safe and effective,and worth promoting.
