Research On The Construction Of TCM Gynecological Tumor Ontology

Objective:There are many schools of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and different regions,which lead to many and inconsistent names of symptoms,syndromes and causes of TCM,mostly in natural language.In order to realize the structural expression of knowledge of gynecological tumors TCM,this paper takes the treatment of gynecological tumors in TCM as the breakthrough point,and collects and sorts out the clinical trial documents of gynecological tumors in CNKI and Wanfang database,and refers to relevant educational books,guides and expert consensus.According to the characteristics of TCM,this paper studies the knowledge expression of diseases,syndromes,intervention measures,outcome indicators and other aspects.With the seven-step method as the ontology construction method,Protégé open source software as the ontology construction tool,and OWL as the ontology expression language,it studies and constructs an open and well-expressed ontology of gynecological tumors in TCM,which realizes the transformation from natural language description to computer language,achieves the formal expression of gynecological tumor knowledge,and realizes the knowledge sharing and reuse of gynecological tumors.Methods:Based on the clinical trial literature of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of gynecological tumor diseases as the data source,and referring to relevant textbooks,clinical guidelines and expert consensus such as Gynaecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Obstetrics and Gynaecology,taking deep learning methods,the knowledge is extracted and identified,the knowledge is manually sorted out and integrated,and the eight categories of related terms and concepts involved in the ontology are collected and sorted out,including gynecological tumor diseases,pathogenic mechanisms,symptoms,clinical symptoms,treatment methods,interventions,outcome indicators,diagnostic criteria,etc.,based on the Clinic terminology of traditional Chinese medical diagnosis and treatment and Chinese Terms of Gynaecologic Oncology,and other standard specification terminology concepts,with the seven-step method of ontology construction as a reference,through the Protégé5.5.0 software to build classes and class hierarchical structure,define relevant object attributes,numerical attributes,and add examples,initially construct the TCM gynecological tumor ontology,and use the inference machine to test the consistency of the ontology and evaluate the ontology after construction.Results: A total of 1056 clinical trial literature of gynecological oncology of traditional Chinese medicine were included,and under the guidance of the seven-step method,the ontology of gynecological tumor of traditional Chinese medicine was constructed on the Protégé platform in a semi-automatic way,with a total of 130 classes,9object properties,2 data properties and 3325 instances,realizing the knowledge integration and expression of multiple sources such as clinical trial literature,related textbooks,guidelines and expert consensus.Conclusion: The construction of this ontology realizes the integration and Standardized expression of knowledge about clinical trials of TCM gynecological tumors,and provides ideas for the later construction of related gynecological diseases ontology and other medical ontology construction,and makes exploratory research.However,the comprehensiveness of knowledge in this ontology needs to be improved and the knowledge sources need to be rich,so that the content of this ontology is more complete and it is convenient for further development and use.
