Objective: To understand the development of the supply level of health resources in Xinjiang, analyze the regional differences and spatial distribution characteristics of the supply level of health resources among regions, and further explore the reasons that affect the supply level of health resources, and put forward suggestions based on the research results to provide the scientific basis for promoting the balanced development of the supply level of health resources in all regions of Xinjiang. Methods: Taking the panel data of 14 prefecture-level administrative units in Xinjiang from 2015 to 2020 as the research sample, select indicators from the aspects of healthy human and material resources, build a comprehensive evaluation index system for the supply level of health resources, and use the entropy method to measure the comprehensive score of the level of health resources in all cities(prefectures); The regional difference and spatial distribution characteristics of health resource supply level were measured by the coefficient of variation method,Thiel index and Moran’s I,and the influencing factors of the level of health resources in Xinjiang were discussed by using the spatial econometric model.Result:1.The comprehensive evaluation results of the supply level of health resources in Xinjiang: the average score of the supply level of health resources in Xinjiang from 2015 to 2020 was 0.364,of which the northern Xinjiang(0.423)and eastern Xinjiang(0.391)were higher than the southern Xinjiang(0.271);From the perspective of each prefecture,Urumqi’s supply level of health resources is far higher than that of other regions, with a score of more than 0.7 in 2015-2020;Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture has a higher average, with a score of more than 0.4 in each year;In Aksu,Kashgar, and Hotan regions, the score of the supply level of health resources in each year is below 0.3,but the average growth rate is at a high level(>3.24%),of which Kashgar ranks first with an average growth rate of 13.47%.2.The spatial difference analysis results of Xinjiang’s health resource supply level: the coefficient of variation of Xinjiang’s health resource supply level fluctuated from 0.449 in 2015 to 0.340 in 2020,with the largest being 2016(0.483);The Thiel index fluctuated from 0.103 to 0.051,with the largest in 2016(0.109);The contribution rate of intra-regional differences increased from 62.887% to 74.600% in2015-2020,with the largest in 2019(85.781%);From the perspective of regions, the mean values of the Thiel index in northern Xinjiang, eastern Xinjiang, and southern Xinjiang from 2015 to 2020 were 0.078,0.009 and 0.057 respectively; In 2015,the Global Moran’s I was the highest,at 0.269,and then showed a continuous downward trend, and dropped to 0.085 by 2020,and no longer had spatial correlation(P=0.211).3.Analysis results of factors affecting the supply level of health resources in Xinjiang: the results of the spatial lag model show that the spatial regression coefficient is 0.353(P=0.004),the per capita GDP coefficient is 0.457(P=0.041),the fiscal expenditure decentralization coefficient is 0.384(P=0.016),while the population size coefficient is-1.125(P=0.010),and the urbanization level coefficient is-0.028(P=0.904)Conclusion:1.There are regional differences in the level of health resource provision in Xinjiang, with an overall fluctuating trend of narrowing regional differences between 2015 and 2020,with intra-regional differences being the main source of variation.2.There is a global spatial autocorrelation in the supply level of health resources in Xinjiang, showing a spatial agglomeration feature. The spatial correlation decreased year by year between 2015 and 2020.3.The per capita GDP and fiscal expenditure decentralization positively impact the supply level of health resources in Xinjiang, while the population size has a negative effect.
