Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy on upper limb spasm after stroke. To speed up the rehabilitation process of patients, improve the upper limb motor function and quality of life of patients,so as to reduce the burden of society and patients’ families. At the same time,it is expected to provide clinical basis for the promotion of eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy.Materials and methods: In this study,72 patients with post-stroke motor aphasia who met the inclusive criteria were selected from the treatment area and outpatient clinic of Brain Disease Center of the Third Affiliated Clinical Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The time for collecting cases was from November 2021 to November 2022.72 patients with post-stroke spastic hemiplegia who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(with needle group)(36 cases)and control group(without needle group)(36 cases)at a ratio of 1:1 using random number table. The treatment group was treated with conventional acupuncture and eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation(rehabilitation training during eye acupuncture retention); The control group was treated with routine acupuncture and rehabilitation training. Both the treatment group and the control group were treated for 2 weeks(treatment from Monday to Friday, rest on Saturday and Sunday). The treatment effect of patients was comprehensively judged by comparing the scores of motor function, activities of daily living and spasticity degree of affected upper limbs of patients before and after treatment.Results:1.Comparison of simplified Fugl Meyer Motor Function Assessment(FMA)scores: there was no statistical difference in FMA scores between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the FMA score of both groups increased, and the FMA score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.2.Comparison of Barthel Index(BI)score: there was no significant difference in BI scores between the two groups before treatment. The BI score of both groups increased after treatment, and the BI score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.3.Comparison of the Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS): there was no significant difference in MAS between the two groups before treatment. The MAS grading of patients in both groups decreased after treatment, and the MAS grading in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.4.Comparison of Wolf Motor Function Test scale(WMFT)score: there was no statistical difference in WMFT scores between the two groups before treatment. The WMFT scores of the two groups increased after treatment, and the WMFT scores of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.5.Comparison of average EMG of Surface Electromyography(AEMG): There was no significant difference in AEMG values between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the AEMG scores of both groups increased, and the AEMG value of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy can effectively relieve the spastic state of spastic hemiplegic limbs after stroke.2.Eye acupuncture combined with acupuncture rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve the activities of daily living of patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke.3.The effect of eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy on spastic hemiplegia after stroke is obviously better than that of conventional acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training, which can provide relevant basis for the promotion of eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy.
