Research On China’s Institutional Advantages In COVID-19 Prevention And Control

The new type of coronavirus pneumonia is the most widespread global pandemic that humans have encountered in the past 100 years.It is a serious crisis and a severe test for the whole world.In December 2019,a case of new coronary pneumonia was detected in Wuhan City,Hubei Province.Subsequently,other cities in China and most countries and regions abroad also reported the new crown pneumonia epidemic one after another.Human life safety and health are facing major threats.With the joint efforts of the people across the country,my country’s prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic has achieved phased victory.At the same time,the number of new cases of new crowns in foreign countries has exploded,and the epidemic has intensified.In the face of the rapidly spreading new crown pneumonia epidemic,China can quickly gather a "national chess game",and the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics demonstrated by the rapid control of the epidemic are worth studying.Through the literature research method and comparative analysis method,the article collects,analyzes,organizes,and categorizes relevant literature.Through the comparison of the 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia and the outbreak of atypical pneumonia in 2003,China’s response is analyzed from the time dimension in the face of public health emergencies.At the time of the incident,the Chinese system has been improved in terms of response speed,the degree of perfection of laws and regulations,and the degree of information disclosure.Through the comparison of epidemic prevention and control measures in Chinese and foreign countries,the effectiveness of China’s institutional advantages in epidemic prevention and control is analyzed from a spatial dimension.Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core,China has adopted scientific prevention and control measures for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus epidemic,and achieved phased results.This paper argues that the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic reflects the advantages of China’s system: the leadership of the party is the fundamental guarantee for the demonstration of China’s institutional advantages;the rule of law is the legal basis for the demonstration of China’s institutional advantages;the basic economic system is an important support for the demonstration of China’s institutional advantages;cultural Self-confidence is a key condition for the demonstration of China’s institutional advantages.China’s systems and mechanisms have also exposed some problems in epidemic prevention and control.Epidemic prevention and control is also an important opportunity for China to improve its system and give full play to its advantages.From the practice of epidemic prevention and control,we will further improve our country’s system and major epidemic prevention and control systems and mechanisms,and improve the national public health emergency management system,so as to promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity.
