The Relationship Between Folic Acid And Cervical Lesions And The Effect Of Folic Acid Intervention On Anxiety And Depression In Patients With Cervical Cancer Undergoing Chemotherapy | | Posted on:2024-08-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y C Jiang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2544307127956599 | Subject:Care | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:To study the relationship between red blood cell folate level and gynecological cervical lesions,to explore the intervention effect of folic acid nursing program on the anxiety and depression in patients with cervical cancer during the chemotherapy stage after surgery, and to provide practical guidance for medical staff for anxiety and depression in patients with cervical cancer after surgery in the future. Methods:A case-control study was conducted. From September 2021 to February 2022,105 patients with cervical malignant lesions in Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University were selected as the research objects, and 120 normal women who participated in the physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group.A competitive model was used to establish a chemiluminescence immunoassay for human red blood cell folate. The levels of red blood cell folate in 225 subjects were measured.Using the phenomenological method of qualitative research,6 patients with cervical cancer who were hospitalized in the gynecology department of Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University were selected by purposive sampling principle.Semi-structured in-depth interviews were used to investigate the awareness of folic acid in cervical cancer patients.Data collection was carried out,and the collected interview data were sorted out, summarized and analyzed by Colaizzi’s seven-step analysis method, and then verified by the original patients and original data for further confirmation and analysis. In the above 105 case group, there were 65 patients with cervical cancer.A total of 31 patients from September 2021 to November 2021 were included in the control group, and 34 patients from December 2021 to February 2022 were included in the intervention group. The control group was given routine nursing care for cervical cancer patients undergoing postoperative chemotherapy, and the experimental group was given folic acid nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The main contents included folic acid tablets supplement + dietary guidance + health education, and the intervention time was10 weeks. The scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were compared with those in the control group after 10 weeks of intervention.Depression scale and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)were used to test.In the depression scale, scores < 40 were defined as no depression,40-47 as mild depression,48-55 as moderate depression, and ≥56 as severe depression. In the anxiety scale,a score of 25-49 was defined as normal,50-59 as mild anxiety,60-69 as moderate anxiety, and ≥70 as severe anxiety.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results:The levels of serum folate in the control group,CIN3 group and cervical cancer group were 7.82±3.13,8.04±3.58 and 7.58±4.30 ng/mL,respectively.Differences that are not statistically significant(P=0.959).The levels of red blood cell folate were 307.27±122.95,290.52±189.77 and 205.42±125.74 ng/mL,respectively.The differences is statistically significant(P=0.003).Post hoc multiple comparison analysis showed that the red blood cell folate level in the control group was 101.851 ng/mL higher than that in the cervical cancer group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.007).In the analysis of red blood cell folate grading, the scores of each group were statistically significant(P < 0.05).With the decrease of red blood cell folate, the OR value showed an upward trend in the control group,CIN3 group and cervical cancer group. The SAS scores of the control group and the experimental group were 55.68±2.03 and 50.62±1.98,respectively.Statistically significant differences(P=0.041).Scores of SDS depression scale were 53.75±1.52 and 47.51±1.67,respectively.Statistically significant differences(P=0.038).Conclusion:Red blood cell folate level is associated with the risk of cervical lesions in middle-aged Chinese women.Folic acid intervention can relieve the anxiety and depression of patients with cervical cancer after chemotherapy.Folic acid nursing intervention can relieve the anxiety and depression of patients with cervical cancer after chemotherapy. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Folic acid, Cervical lesions, Cervical cancer, Anxiety and depression, Folic Acid intervention | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
