Objective: This study investigated the current situation and influencing factors of the training demand of basic public health service personnel in basic medical institutions in Hohhot area,and put forward relevant suggestions,so that relevant training institutions in Hohhot can train the service personnel in basic medical and health institutions in a more targeted way.Methods:In this study,four municipal districts(Xincheng District,Yuquan District,Huimin District,Saihan District),four counties(Toketuo County,Helinger County,Qingshuihe County,Wuchuan County)and one banner(Tumet Left Banner)in Hohhot were selected as research sites.Multi-stage sampling method was adopted,and one sample was selected according to the good,medium and poor economic conditions of the primary medical and health institutions in each district and county banner.A total of 108 primary medical and health institutions(including 27 community health service centers,27 township health centers,27 community health service stations and 27 village clinics)were selected as the research site,and all public health service personnel in the primary medical and health institutions in the flags of the sample districts and counties were selected as the investigation objects.The database was established by using Epidata 3.2 software for two-person questionnaire entry,and data cleaning was carried out to delete illogical and missing data.SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical processing of the data.The proportion of survey data on gender,age,education level,profession and title of basic public health service personnel is expressed as a percentage.The general situation and training needs of basic public health service personnel were analyzed descriptively.Chi-square test(single factor analysis)was used to compare intra-group differences,and factors influencing training demand were screened.A generalized linear mixed effect model(level 1 survey object,level 2 work unit,level 3 district/county)was used.Test level α=0.05.Results: The nature of primary medical and health institutions in Hohhot is mostly public institutions,accounting for78.69%.The male and female service personnel accounted for 43.78% and 56.22% respectively.The age group mainly concentrated in the range of 41-50 and 31-40,accounting for 31.02%and 22.14% respectively.Professional knowledge: People aged 41 to 50 and over 60 are more likely to receive professional knowledge training than those aged 20 to 30.Compared with clinical medicine,nursing staff are more eager to obtain professional knowledge training,while traditional Chinese medicine(Mongolian medicine)is less eager to obtain professional knowledge training.Those who provide services for the establishment of resident records and the management of tuberculosis patients are more likely than other staff to be trained in specialized knowledge.Professional skills: services to establish resident archives,children’s health management,health management of patients with chronic diseases more hope to get professional skills training;In addition,workers who have worked for one to two years,two to three years,and three to four years are less likely to seek professional training than those who have worked for less than one year.Basic public health norms training: Compared with clinical professionals,general practice and preventive medicine(public health)professionals are more likely to receive basic public health norms training,while traditional Chinese medicine(Mongolian medicine)is less likely to receive basic public health norms training.In addition,those who serve the establishment of resident records,the management of children’s health,and the management of the health of patients with chronic diseases are more likely to be trained in professional skills.Compared with clinical professionals,general practice and preventive medicine(public health)professionals are more likely to be trained in basic public health norms.Epidemiological investigation: service prevention vaccination,infectious disease and public health emergency reporting and handling,health and family planning supervision and coordination are also expected to receive epidemiological investigation content training.Intervention formulation: Serving the health management of patients with chronic diseases,assisting in the supervision and management of health and family planning,and having clinical work experience were more likely to receive training in intervention formulation,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Basic public health service personnel of different ages,different genders,different professions and different jobs have different training needs,and they should be given specific professional training to improve work efficiency. |
