ObjectiveThe dual nursing intervention program based on Snyder’s hope theory was developed to explore the effects of improving the post-traumatic growth level, hope level, quality of life, intimate relationship satisfaction and binary coping level of breast cancer patients after trauma,so as to provide theoretical basis and reference for clinical nurses to carry out psychological nursing for breast cancer patients.MethodsIn the early stage, through reading a large number of domestic and foreign literature on dualistic coping, combined with the psychological problems of clinical breast cancer survivors,we formulated the first draft of the intervention program of dualistic intervention based on Snyder’s hope theory in the post-traumatic growth of female breast cancer survivors, consulted experts in breast cancer tumor and conducted pre experiments, found problems in the intervention program, reorganized and revised it,Finally, the final draft of the intervention program of dual intervention based on Snyder’s hope theory for post-traumatic growth of female breast cancer survivors was formed.94 couples of breast cancer survivors who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from February 2022 to October 2022 in the breast surgery department of a tertiary A hospital in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were selected as the research objects. The random number function formula=RANGBETWEEN was used to randomly group them into 47 pairs in the control group and 47 pairs in the intervention group.Among them, the control group received routine nursing, and the intervention group was given a dualistic nursing intervention program based on Snyder’s hope theory on the basis of routine nursing. The PTGI score,HHI score,FACT-B score,DCI score,QRI score, and spouse’s DCI score and QRI score of breast cancer survivors in the two groups were compared,so as to evaluate the effect of the intervention program in solving the psychological problems of breast cancer survivors.Outcome1.The final effective sample size of this study is 89 couples of breast cancer survivors,45 couples in the intervention group and 44 couples in the control group. There are 5 pairs of research subjects who have lost interviews, with a loss rate of 5.6%.There was no significant difference in general data between the two groups(P>0.05);There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the scores of post-traumatic growth, hope level, dual coping level, intimate relationship satisfaction and quality of life on the first day before surgery(P>0.05).2.At the completion of the first chemotherapy and the third chemotherapy after surgery, there was a statistical difference between the two groups of breast cancer survivors in terms of the total score of post-traumatic growth level and the scores of each dimension(P<0.05).The repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).3.At the completion of the first chemotherapy and the third chemotherapy after surgery, there was a statistically significant difference in the total score of hope level and the scores of each dimension between the two groups of breast cancer survivors(P<0.05).The repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).4.At the completion of the first chemotherapy and the third chemotherapy after surgery, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups of breast cancer survivors and their spouses in the total score of dual coping level and the scores of each dimension(P<0.05).The repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).5.At the completion of the first chemotherapy and the third chemotherapy after surgery, the two groups of breast cancer survivors and their spouses’ total scores of intimacy satisfaction and scores of each dimension were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between groups and time effect(P<0.05).ConclusionBinary intervention based on Snyder’s theory of hope can significantly improve the posttraumatic growth and hope level of breast cancer survivors, and improve the quality of life of breast cancer survivors. At the same time,it can also improve the level of binary coping and intimate relationship satisfaction between spouses. This study provides new ideas for psychological care for breast cancer survivors.
