The state has not only provided the principles,indicators and procedures of the performance evaluation of public hospitals from a macro perspective,but also clarified the key evaluation indicators of public hospitals and elaborated them in detail,which has strengthened the internal motivation of public hospitals to participate in performance evaluation.The internal performance appraisal mechanism of the hospital has been improved,the performance appraisal responsibilities have been assigned to specific positions,and a cultural atmosphere of finding gaps,continuous improvement,and pursuit of high performance goals has been created,so as to improve the hospital and medical staff’s understanding of the significance of performance appraisal.The performance appraisal management of public hospitals is not only an important means to standardize hospital management methods and improve the work efficiency of employees,thereby promoting the overall development of hospitals,but also an important way to further solve the development of health services.This paper takes Suzhou X Hospital as an example to study the optimization of the hospital performance evaluation index system.This paper firstly summarizes the relevant research results at home and abroad,and then investigates and summarizes the current performance appraisal of domestic hospitals.Then,it conducts in-depth analysis and research on the performance appraisal method currently implemented by Suzhou X Hospital.It is believed that there are many problems in the management of employee performance appraisal in Suzhou X Hospital.Aiming at these problems existing in the performance appraisal scheme of X hospital,this paper optimizes the staff performance appraisal index scheme by using the key performance indicator method and the balanced scorecard method.In the new performance evaluation index system,the plan is divided into three parts according to the actual situation of X hospital,workload performance,post quality performance,middle-level cadre allowance performance.Workload performance is further subdivided into three parts: clinical department,medical technology department and physical examination department.It has thoroughly implemented the sixteen-character performance appraisal guidelines of "more for good work,more for more work,more for could work,more for hard work".The optimized plan makes the assessment objects clearer and the assessment process more reasonable,allowing employees to focus not only on the increase in the number of jobs but also on the improvement of job quality and work efficiency.
