Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Jiaweiweiling Decoction combined with red and blue light in the treatment of facial seborrheic dermatitis and the effect on serum TNF-αlevels.Methods: Three groups of 25 cases each were formed out of the 75 patients that satisfied the requirements to join the group.Among them,the therapy group received Red and blue light coupled with Jiaweiweiling Decoction,the regulating group A was only given orally with Jiaweiling Decoction,the control group B was only given red and blue light,and the three groups were given ordinary moisturizing for external moisturizing.One treatment course comprises two weeks,for a total of two courses(4 weeks).Over the therapy sessions,patients should be told to eat and rest regularly,meanwhile avoid all kinds of physical and chemical stimuli as much as possible.Observe and compare the clinical skin damage index scores such as rashes,scales,itching,sebum overflow and skin lesions area before treatment,and after each course of treatment in the three groups of patients,so as to determine the clinical effect.After course of treatment,the serum TNF-α levels of the three groups of patients were compared with the changes of pretreatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions.Cured and effective patients were followed up 4 weeks after the end of the course of treatment to calculate the recurrence rate.Results: In this inspection,68 cases were really finished,of which23 cases were completed in the therapy group,the regulating group A and control group B,22 and 23 cases respectively,and a total of 7cases were shed and withdrawal in the three groups.1.Baseline comparison: There is no statistical significance(P>0.05)between the three patient groups’ symptoms and summary points in regard to gender,age,illness progress,and prior treatment.2.Comparison of the points of each symptom:(1)After 2 weeks of therapy: The therapy group was more valid than the regulating group A in improving the total score of rashes,itching,seborrheuity and total symptoms in the control group A(P<0.05);compared with the control group B,the treatment group had more advantages in improving the rashes in the patients(P<0.05);and the control group Compared with the control group B,the two groups had the same effect(P>0.05).(2)After 4 weeks of therapy: The difference between the symptom score and the cumulative symptom score is statistically significant in comparison to control group A and control group B(P<0.05),instruction that after 4 weeks,the therapy group is more effective than that of regulating group A and B in improving the patient’s symptoms and relieving the condition,while the control group A and Compared with group B,the two groups had the same effect(P>0.05).3.Comparison of serum TNF-α levels: The treatment group outperformed the other two groups in terms of improving blood TNF-αlevels after 4 weeks of treatment when compared to control group A and B(P<0.05).Compared with the control group A and B,the ability of the two groups had the same effect(P>0.05).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy: The apparent efficacy of the treatment group,control group A,and control group B after 4 weeks of treatment was 65.2%,22.7%,30.4%,respectively;the efficiency of the three groups was 91.3%,68.2% and 73.9%.After testing,in comparison with the control groups A and B,the treatment group’s clinical outcome was better(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between the control group A and B(P>0.05).5.Safety and adverse reactions: During the treatment process,one patient in the treatment group and control group B had mild adverse reactions.After timely treatment,it did not affect the experimental process;all the patients participating in the experiment did not find obvious abnormal indicators.6.Comparison of relapse rate: The recurrence rates for the therapy group,control subjects A,and control subjects B were 13.33%,40%,and 28.57%,respectively,4 weeks after the course of therapy ended,indicating that the recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the other two groups.Conclusion: 1.Jiaweiweiling Decoction combined with red and blue light can timely and effectively improve the area of rashes,scales,itching,seborrheic and skin lesions in patients with seborrheic dermatitis,relieve the disease and reduce recurrence.Compared with a single application of Jiaweiweiling decoction or the red and blue light group,the combined treatment group is more effective.2.Jiaweiwei Ling Decoction combined with red and blue light can effectively regulate the patient’s serum TNF-α levels,improve the patient’s inflammatory level.3.Jiaweiweiling Decoction combined with red and blue light is a safe,impactful medical intervention with few side effects is definitely worthy of clinical marketing and use. |
