In June 2021,the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the High Quality Development of Public Hospitals"(Guo Ban Fa [2021]No.18),emphasizing the need to establish a modern hospital management system and promote the comprehensive development of public hospitals,including systems,models,technologies,and management.Modernization of governance is a necessary link in achieving high-quality development of public hospitals.The administrative management status and performance of a hospital are direct indicators of its governance ability and level.However,there are currently some deficiencies in the administrative management of most public hospitals in China,which are long-lasting and highly complex,seriously slowing down the pace of governance modernization and highquality development.This article focuses on the administrative management of A Hospital,a wellknown public hospital in N City,Sichuan Province.This study is based on organizational theory,incentive theory,and new public service theory.Using literature research,questionnaire survey,and interview methods,various leaders,cadres,and ordinary employees of the hospital were anonymously interviewed to investigate the overall development situation,leadership team capabilities,organizational atmosphere,management concepts and methods,administrative management work effectiveness,clinical services provided by administrative departments,and professional development of administrative personnel Questionnaire surveys and interviews on performance evaluation and supervision of administrative management work.Through investigation and analysis,the administrative efficiency of the hospital was evaluated,and it was concluded that the administrative efficiency of Hospital A needs to be further improved in terms of management concepts and systems,scientific and democratic decisionmaking,work procedures,information construction,institutional settings,supervision and assessment,etc.Finally,this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions for improving the administrative efficiency of Hospital A from three aspects: strengthening top-level design,improving hospital management systems,implementing management reforms,constructing a refined hospital management system,optimizing supervision and performance evaluation mechanisms,and improving employee satisfaction.The aim is to help the hospital improve its administrative efficiency as soon as possible,achieve governance modernization and high-quality development goals of the hospital.
