| Objective:There is a Th17/Treg cell immune imbalance in children with bronchial asthma We use this fact as an entry point to observe the regulatory effects of vitamin D supplement on IL-17/IL-10 level in serum and intervention of disease progression.Methods:A total of 82 children with bronchial asthma diagnosed in pediatric department of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from June 1,2021 to November30,2021 were enrolled in this study.According to the guidelines for the diagnosis and prevention of bronchial asthma in children(2016 Edition),they were accordingly divided into mild asthma group(42 cases)and moderate/severe asthma group(40cases).Each group was randomly divided into control group and observation group.The control group was treated with routine treatment,The observation group was treated with routine plus vitamin D treatments;The serum levels of IL-17 and IL-10 were detected by flow cytometry before and 3 months after treatment,and the serum level of 25-(OH)-D were detected by automatic electrochemiluminescence instrument.By detecting IL-17 and IL-10 level in serum and IL-17/IL-10 ratio to better understand the immune imbalance condition and the regulatory effect of serum vitamin D level of it.Evaluate the disease condition by calculating FEV1/FVC and Systemic Immune Inflammation Index(SII).Results:(1)Before treatment,serum 25-(OH)-D level in moderate and severe group was lower than that in mild group(P < 0.05).(2)Over all after treatment:Serum IL-17 level decreases,serum IL-17 level of observation group was lower than control group’s.Serum IL-10 level elevates,serum IL-10 level of observation group was higher than control group’s.IL-17/IL-10 decreases,and observation group’s is much lower.Children in observation group have a higher FEV1/FVC and SII in the observation group decreases more significantly.(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Asthma in children may happen along with Vitamin D deficiency.(2)SII change can help evaluate the condition of asthma.(3)Vitamin D may regulate Th17/Treg cell immune imbalance and have a huge clinical potential for diagnosis,early intervention,and primary prevention of asthma. |
