Clinical Observation Of Gujingcao Decoction In Treating Liver Depression And Fire Type Insomina

Objective: This study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Gujingcao Decoction combined with Dexzopiclonone tablet in patients with insomnia liver depression and fire,and compare the improvement of Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale,polysomnography and TCM syndrome score before and after treatment,so as to provide a new scheme for clinical treatment of insomnia.Methods: A total of 72 patients in the Third Department of Cardiology,Shijiazhuang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December2021 to October 2022 who met the inclusion criteria were selected and divided into control group and treatment group with 36 patients in each group according to random number table method.The control group was given dexzopiclone tablet;The treatment group was given dexzopiclone tablet and Gujingcao decoction.The two groups were treated for a total of 4weeks,counted as 1 course.The parameters of polysomnography(PSG),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale(PSQI)and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were compared.The safety indexes of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and the cases and adverse events were recorded.The medical statistical software SPSS26.0was used for analysis to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Gujingcao decoction in treating liver depression and fire type insomnia.Results: There were no significant differences in PSG parameters,PSQI scores and TCM syndrome scores before treatment(P > 0.05),which were comparable.(1)Comparison of PSG parameters: Before and after treatment,there were statistical differences in PSG parameters between groups(P < 0.05).After treatment,there were statistically significant differences in total sleep time(TST),sleep latency(SL),sleep efficiency(SE)(P < 0.01),and wakefulness times(AN)between groups(P > 0.05).(2)Comparison of PSQI scores: Before and after treatment,there was a statistical difference in the total score of PSQI within the group(P < 0.05).After treatment,there was statistical difference between groups(P < 0.05).(3)Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: before and after treatment,there were statistical differences among TCM syndrome scores in the treatment group(P < 0.05);There was no statistical difference in the control group in impatience,irritability,insensitivity to diet,constipation deutzia(P > 0.05),and there were statistical differences in the remaining scores(P < 0.05).After treatment,there were statistical differences between the groups in sleepless dream,eye red tinnitus(P < 0.05),there were significant statistical differences in impatience and irritability,do not think about diet,god fatigue,constipation deutzia and total scores of TCM syndroms(P < 0.01),the curative effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.(4)Comparison of sleep quality efficacy: The total effective rates of treatment group and control group were 90.91% and 78.79%,respectively,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).(5)Comparison of the curative effect of TCM syndrome: The total effective rates of treatment group and control group were 90.91% and75.76%,respectively,with statistically significant difference(P < 0.01).(6)Safety comparison: In the course of this clinical observation,there were no abnormalities in the vital signs and routine blood,urine and stool of the two groups.Two patients in the dexzopiclone group experienced mild dyspepsis,which was considered to be related to the side effects of dexzopiclone.Since it did not get worse in the subsequent treatment,no other discomfort occurred,so only observation treatment was given.Conclusions: Gujingcao Decoction combined with dexzopiclone tablet is superior to dexzopiclone group in the treatment of liver depression and fire type insomnia in terms of increasing total sleep time,improving sleep efficiency,shortening sleep time and TCM syndrome,with fewer adverse reactions,safe and reliable,and can be further promoted in clinical use.
