Objective(s):By comparing scar hyperplasia after hand burn skin grafting,the efficacy of manual burn scar deformity correction and functional improvement was analyzed.Methods: A retrospective analysis of 32 cases was conducted between September 2020 and December 2022,with 48 hands,including 27 men and 5 women,with a sex ratio of 5.4:1.According to the patient treatment group,16 patients were included in the physiotherapy + work therapy group(observation group),and 16 patients were included in the physiotherapy group(control group).Record the improvement of scar,pruritus relief,hand joint activity and improvement of daily living activities,using the Vancouver Scar Rating Scale(VSS),the Four-item Itch Assessment Scale(FIIQ),hand joint mobility(TAM),and daily living activity(ADL).Results:⑴ There was no significant difference between VSS,FIIQ,finger TAM,ADL and patients before treatment 1 month after treatment(P> 0.05).⑵ VSS,FIIQ,finger TAM,ADL and the pretreatment comparison were different 3 months after treatment(P <0.05).⑶ Comparison between VSS,FIIQ,finger TAM and ADL at 3months after treatment: no difference between VSS score and FIIQ(P> 0.05);the difference between TAM and ADL scores between the observation group was statistically significant(P <0.05),and the finger TAM and ADL values in the observation group were higher than those of the control group.Conclusion(s): Hand burn scar using physical therapy for scar comprehensive prevention and treatment,can effectively improve scar hyperplasia,relieve itching degree,reduce finger joint stiffness,improve the ability of daily life,combined specification therapy,more can significantly reduce the finger joint stiffness,improve the ability of daily life,improve hand function,improve the quality of life,make patients better into social life.
