| Since 1992,when the overall goal of China’s socialist market economic system was established,under the tripartite force of China’s economic system transformation,the penetration of western consumer culture concepts and the powerful promotion of mass media,China in the context of social transformation under the background of globalization has gradually generated a localized consumer culture context.From film closely associated with the time,zhang yimou’s film creation in leading Chinese film culture at the same time,also inevitably affected by time,the dialectical relationship of both has enabled us to will zhang yimou’s film from the perspective of historical novels in time under the big background of cultural context transition.Combined with Kellner’s theory of media spectacle,this study argues that the five Zhang Yimou martial arts films,represented by Hero,born in the early part of this century,are direct products of the generation of local consumer culture context,and have evolved into a "media spectacle" under the help of consumer culture.This is reflected not only in the magnificent spectacle visual construction of zhang Yimou’s martial arts films at the textual level,but also in the fact that zhang Yimou’s martial arts films themselves have evolved into a kind of event spectacle under the omni-directional marketing offensive,which actually forms a new cultural rebellion.Therefore,on the basis of analyzing the spectacle of zhang Yimou’s wuxia films at the textual level and the characteristics of spectacle phenomenon events,this paper will further explore the causes of the media spectacle phenomenon of Zhang Yimou’s wuxia films by using diagnostic criticism.Based on the diagnostic of zhang yimou martial arts film criticism,this paper argues that as zhang yimou,martial arts films of media spectacle,there exists a coexistence identity discourse and discourse field,a particular discourse field field this three kinds of dialogue,discourse in the rule of discourse and discourse fight each other and ruled against the common booster spectacle generated,and to a certain extent,reflects the cultural discourse of the special times,With unique cultural characteristics.Zhang yimou’s costume martial arts film is both a creator and a product of Chinese movie dialogue system,is also under the wave of consumer culture,Chinese filmmakers to western film market to promote the consumer culture with its culture characteristics of products,in individual and system,subject choice and consumption culture,Oriental and western view three discourse field confrontation in the process,The media spectacle of Zhang Yimou’s martial arts film was produced. |
