| The Long Song of Helan "is a Zheng Concerto jointly conceived and created by Feng Jiyong and Zhou Yuguo from Xi’an Conservatory of Music in 2014.His creative inspiration comes from the ancient rock paintings at the foot of the Helan Mountains and the vitality they showcase.In terms of creation,the composer greatly utilized the performance characteristics and performance techniques of the guzheng,presenting the early human life scenes of grazing,hunting,sacrifice,war,entertainment,dance,and so on on on this land.The work is based on traditional music expression style,while also incorporating modern creative techniques,making the guzheng and piano concerto have clear levels of thematic expression and profound artistic conception.This article discusses the creative techniques and performance techniques of the work from the perspective of Zheng performance,aiming to provide an objective and comprehensive analysis of the work.Chapter 1 mainly analyzes the creative background and techniques,as well as the musical structure of the work;Chapter 2,based on one’s own performance practice,focuses on analyzing the application of performance techniques,the handling of breath,strength,speed,timbre,and other aspects in music expression,as well as the handling of the texture of zheng and piano.It aims to explore the rational application of musical interpretation and performance techniques in works through a combination of theory and performance practice. |
