| In recent years,China has achieved remarkable achievements in various fields such as economy,national defense,and technology,and has continuously strengthened its international discourse power,attracting the attention of more and more international friends.The vocabulary related to Chinese traditional festivals summarizes various cultural activities and connotations of Chinese traditional festivals.Mastering the vocabulary of Chinese traditional festivals can provide a comprehensive understanding of Chinese traditional festival culture.This article will be based on the situational teaching method,with the Chinese Spring Festival culture as the starting point,and mainly focus on vocabulary teaching.While learning vocabulary,let foreign students learn the connotation of Spring Festival culture in situational teaching.Using food and activity related vocabulary from traditional Chinese festivals such as the Spring Festival as teaching cases,this study explores how to better carry out relevant teaching design work under the guidance of situational teaching methods.This study used literature research,interview survey,and other methods to design teaching and conduct on-site classroom teaching for 30 international students aged 18 and above with different Chinese proficiency levels on campus.After exploring the situational teaching of traditional Chinese holiday vocabulary using the Spring Festival as an example,this article mainly concludes that situational teaching and dialogue in Chinese language teaching are of great significance.In response to some problems that arise in situational teaching in vocabulary teaching,this article also points out a series of improvement measures such as strengthening the comparison of Chinese and Western cultures,increasing students’ classroom participation,and combining theory and practice in the classroom,Promote the improvement of situational teaching. |
