With the increasingly close economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam,the demand for business Chinese talents in Vietnam has increased significantly,and the enthusiasm of relevant people to learn business Chinese has risen.However,the existing business Chinese courses and resources for Vietnam are not rich enough to meet the teaching needs.To develop business Chinese courses and teaching resources,we need to carry out need analysis,investigate and understand Vietnam’s demand for business Chinese talents,Vietnamese business professionals’ use of Chinese for business activities,and Vietnamese learners’ demand for business Chinese learning.By conducting a comprehensive survey from the perspective of employers,staff and learners,we can summarize the real business Chinese needs,and provide reference for the development of business Chinese courses and teaching resources.Summarizing 1578 recruitment information released by enterprises in Vietnam leads to typical business work scenarios.It is found that the overall demand for Vietnamese business Chinese talents is strong,concentrated in manufacturing,logistics,trade,business services and other fields.The positions are widely distributed,mainly including sales,procurement,management,translation,and so on.People with high Chinese proficiency,strong communication skills,skilled use of office software,and professional background are preferred.A target situation questionnaire survey was conducted on 179 Vietnamese business workers using Chinese,and interviews were conducted with 8 interviewees.It was found that the frequency of internal communication activities of enterprises was slightly higher than that of external communication activities of enterprises.The skills used were listening first,speaking second,reading,translating,and writing.Online communication surpassed face-to-face communication,telephone,etc.,and became the most common communication channel.A survey of target expectations and needs of 256 Vietnamese business Chinese learners found that learners most wanted to improve their Chinese business communication skills,understand Chinese business culture,and improve their business negotiation,oral expression,and translation skills.To sum up,there are several feasible suggestions for the construction and teaching of Vietnamese business Chinese curriculum resources:1.Develop local teaching materials actively reflecting the requirements of Vietnamese business Chinese language skills.2.Appropriately supplement business professional knowledge and vocational skills,and refine the teaching content according to the position.3.Consciously introduce business culture content and pay attention to behavioral culture teaching.4.Learner-centered:strengthen communication exercises in typical business situations.
