| As a pillar industry in China, the real estate industry plays an important role in social and economic development. In recent years, with the acceleration of high turnover in the real estate industry and the increasingly fierce competition between real estate enterprises,it has become normal for employees in real estate enterprises to work long hours and under great pressure, and "death from overwork" events occur frequently. The strong intervention of the government in macroeconomic policies, coupled with factors such as public opinion, has led to economic contraction and frequent debt defaults in the real estate industry, and multiple companies reducing their workforce.Faced with significant changes in the industry, coupled with a long-term state of high pressure, the psychological health of employees in real estate companies is not optimistic, which deserves our attention.Gratitude is seen as an individual’s advantageous resource, which can effectively resist negative emotions and promote physical and mental health. The sense of meaning in life is widely recognized as one of the key factors for human happiness and prosperity, playing an important role in maintaining individual positive psychological function.Previous studies have shown that gratitude and sense of meaning in life,as positive psychological factors, are of great significance for individual mental health. This study takes real estate employees as the research object to explore the impact mechanism between gratitude, meaning in life, and mental health.Through Naikan therapy, intervention is conducted on real estate employees with mental health problems to improve their gratitude, meaning in life, and mental health levels. This study is divided into two parts.Study 1 explores the demographic variables among gratitude, meaning in life, and mental health of employees in real estate enterprise through questionnaire survey, and explores the relationship among gratitude, meaning in life and mental health. In study 2,32 employees with low mental health level are selected from study 1,16 are used as the intervention group for Discontiguous Naikan Therapy, and the other 16 are used as the control group. This study explored the effect of Naikan therapy on improving the gratitude, meaning in life and mental health of real estate employees through scale evaluation.Based on Grounded theory, this study used Nvivo11.0 to analyze the original data in the process of introspection, and built an experience model of employees in real estate enterprises before and after introspection. The results of study one indicate that:(1)The overall gratitude of real estate employees is at a lower than average level. The sense of meaning in the life of real estate employees is at a moderate to upper level. The positive detection rate of the SCL-90 scale for real estate employees is 48.08%.The psychological distress rates for various factors are:somatization 23.43%,compulsion 36.16%,interpersonal sensitivity 27.47%,depression 25.05%,anxiety 21.82%,hostility 23.64%,terror 19.60%,paranoia 22.42%,psychotic 20.61%,and others 23.64%.(2)There is a correlation between gratitude, meaning in life, and mental health among real estate employees.(3)Gratitude among real estate employees positively predicts sense of meaning in life and mental health, while the sense of meaning in life positively predicts mental health.(4)Meaning in life of real estate employees plays a partial mediating role between gratitude and mental health. The results of Study 2 indicate that:Through the intervention of Naikan therapy, the gratitude, meaning in life, and mental health level of real estate employees have been significantly improved. |
