| In recent years,children’s quality education has played an increasingly important role in the field of education.The Ministry of Education has proposed a dual reduction policy to strengthen the cultivation of children’s quality education.Among them,the core is to cultivate children’s thinking and thinking abilities,and cultivate creative talents.School-age children are in a stage of rapid mental development,where they are exposed to and accept new things,and the speed of learning and mastering scientific knowledge is relatively fast.Popular science education plays an important role in the development of thinking among school-age children,as it provides an introduction to science.Children’s science popularization picture books are carriers for children to learn knowledge,with the aim of disseminating basic scientific knowledge and meeting the cognitive development requirements of children of different ages.This article focuses on exploring and analyzing the image narrative strategies of children’s science popularization picture books.Firstly,introduce the background of children’s science popularization picture books and some existing problems in their creation,clarifying that image narration is the fundamental attribute of picture book creation.Starting from the aesthetic ability and cognitive development of the reading group,this study investigates the theme and visual aesthetic needs of picture books,explores the narrative characteristics of children’s science popularization picture books,summarizes the image narrative elements of children’s science popularization picture books,and establishes an image narrative system and strategy.Based on strategies such as content narrative,illustration narrative,visual element guidance,textual narrative,and physical narrative,this article elaborates on the expression of children’s science popularization picture books in terms of theme,structure,and visual aesthetics from a complete narrative logic level.Apply image narrative strategies to the practice of original picture books,and follow the design steps of book framework conception,script writing,visual element creation,and drafting to complete the original children’s science popularization picture book.Through my creation of children’s science popularization picture books,I further verified that image narrative strategies have a certain guiding role in design,broaden design ideas,and explore the diversification of children’s science popularization picture book design. |
