A Preliminary Study On The Bronze Weapon Of Hook-spines Unearthed In The Central Yunnan Region

Yunnan is located in the southwest border of China,between the civilization of Central plains and the ancient Indian civilization.During the Warring States Period,Qin and Han Dynasties,the central Yunnan region in the central part of Yunnan kept close contact with the Central Plains,Sichuan and Chongqing,Guizhou and Guangxi,and was an important part of the Chinese civilization.A large number of distinctive bronze artifacts have been unearthed in this area.This paper selects the most numerous bronze weapons of the spear type unearthed in the tombs of this area as the research object.Based on the analysis of the types,times and evolution of the weapons,it tries to construct the spatio-temporal framework of the development of the bronze weapons of the spear type in central Yunnan.It also discusses the use and cultural factors of bronze crookers in the society at that time.Finally,based on the analysis of ethnic groups in central Yunnan during the Warring States Period of Qin and Han Dynasties,this paper explains the causes,purposes and fighting methods of the inter-ethnic wars,and further discusses the important role of bronze Gou soldiers in the wars at that time.This paper is divided into five parts:Chapter One,introduction.This paper introduces the research background and significance of this topic,expounds the research object and scope of this paper,and briefly summarizes the research status of bronze weapons in central Yunnan and neighboring areas,as well as the research methods and difficulties of this paper,which are the premise of the research work of this paper.The second chapter,the archaeological discovery of the bronze weapon in the middle Yunnan region.It is the preparation for the research work of this paper to comprehensively collect the tombs or sites of bronze weapons of hook and spines unearthed in central Yunnan.The third chapter,the type,age and function of the bronze weapon in the middle Yunnan.The analysis of the type,age and decorative characteristics of more than 900 bronze hooks collected from five categories is the basis of this paper.Through the above analysis,this paper discusses the development and evolution of all kinds of hookups and their functions in the society at that time.Chapter four,analysis on the Cultural factors of the bronze weapon of hook-thorn in central Yunnan.The bronze Gou soldiers in the Warring States period,Qin and Han Dynasties in central Yunnan included five cultural types: local cultural factor,Zhongyuan cultural factor,northern grassland cultural factor,Chu cultural factor and Baiyue cultural factor.The bronze culture of central Yunnan is closely related to the culture of eastern Yunnan,western Yunnan,Bashu,Luoyue,Central Plains and northern grassland.Chapter Five,Study on family genera in Central Yunnan.Based on the analysis of the living customs of the two major ethnic groups in ancient central Yunnan--the Dian ethnic group and the Kunming ethnic group,combined with the relevant unearthed artifacts and materials,the military situation in ancient central Yunnan is discussed.It is believed that the war between the Dian people and the "Kunming people" was mainly a small scale struggle,with the purpose of competing for goods and human resources among the tribes.Combined with the geographical environment of central Yunnan,it is considered that the army in central Yunnan is mainly equipped with cavalry and infantry,and the combat mode is mainly in the form of cavalry advancing and infantry following.
