Research On Character Presentation In The Character Documentary From The Perspective Of Dramaturgical Theory

Since the birth of documentaries,the study of character documentaries has always become the focus of academic attention.The documentary takes "people" as the main body of the record,follows the principle of recordable aestheticism,and interprets the value judgments of man and nature,society and the world.This dissertation is mainly supported by the relevant theories of Irving Goffman’s "dramaturgical theory",combs out character documentaries,explores the self-presentation of characters from the perspective of dramaturgical theory,explains the character behaviors and images in character documentaries in detail on this basis,and finally takes the graduation work "Gspeed to Victory" as a case study to carry out specific practical analysis of the use of dramaturgical theory in character documentaries.The first chapter first explains the relevant concepts and historical context of character documentaries and dramaturgical theory,explains the self-presentation of character documentary characters from the perspective of dramaturgical theory,and points out that the "performance" of the subjects in the front and background is different from the "real self" of "dramatic performance" in the script.The second chapter is supported by the performance area,performance framework and related theories of the drama class in the dramaturgical theory and analyzes the regional behavior,performance behavior and performance of the drama class behavior in the character behavior based on the case analysis of the character documentary with certain representative significance.Based on the research of "region","performance" and "drama class" behavior,Chapter 3 describes in detail the presentation of individualized self image,social role image,and organized collective image.Chapter 4 combines the relevant research of the above dramaturgical theory,starting from the artistic expression techniques such as visual language,auditory language and post-editing,and analyzes the characters in the "foreground" area of the graduation work "Gspeed to Victory",the behavioral language of the characters in the "performance" process,and the presentation of the character spirit in the "drama class" team.
