"Game" has been concerned by philosophy,psychology,pedagogy and other disciplines as early as the theoretical study of classicism.After entering the information age,the essence of "game" in the academic field is perfectly integrated with the existing artistic expression methods through electronic media,making electronic media the "ninth art" that is ahead of theoretical research in practice.Schiller and Spencer regard human artistic behavior as a kind of "game",believing that human aesthetic activities come from the instinct of games,and the aesthetic experience research of video games therefore has its epochal significance,and as a composite form of expression of works,its research should select specific models,"Fireworks" is the most discussed and widely acclaimed Chinese localized theme single-player game on the online platform in 2021,the first chapter analyzes its audiovisual language,narrative method design through electronic media as an interactive method,It constructs a unique virtual reality expressive world,which changes the way traditional aesthetic experience is generated.Chapter 2 further analyzes that "Fireworks",as a video game,constructs an aesthetic experience space with the aesthetic characteristics of "transparency" and "embodiment" of media from the perceptual level through subject cognition.Taking the needs of gamers as the main body,the aesthetic experience process of video games is summarized as a progressive embodied experience process,from the sensory stimulation of low-level material needs to the emotional resonance of high-level spiritual needs in the interactive experience of video games.Chapter 3 concludes that such video games can construct the aesthetics of "Chinese horror" with traditional Chinese aesthetic connotations through the horizontal comparison of Chinese video games with the same type of localized theme,and finds that "Chinese horror" in the game uses the emotional stimulation of "fear" to deeply penetrate the cultural and aesthetic values of ethnic groups such as Chinese morality,life and death,ancestor worship,and cultural customs into the cognitive concepts of experiencers.The results of the creation of localized video games in recent years also prove that video games can assume the social responsibility of cultural inheritance.
