| Since the reform and opening up,China’s economic development speed has been accelerating, and the connection between cities has been continuously strengthened. The regionalization of cities has become an important means of connection between cities. The urban agglomeration has begun to develop and grow.At the same time, the invasion of cities such as natural disasters and public health events is also increasing, and cities urgently need a sustainable concept to promote its high-quality development. The level of urban toughness reflects the cities’ recovery ability, resistance and learning innovation ability when facing risks, and improve the urban toughness level. The northeast region is in an important period of development and transformation, and the improvement of the toughness of its urban groups is of great significance to the revitalization of the Northeast. In this thesis,20 prefecture-level cities in the Harbin-Changchun urban agglomeration in Northeast China and the central and southern Liaoning urban agglomeration are selected as research objects to explore the spatial and temporal characteristics of urban resilience in the urban agglomeration in Northeast China from 2011 to 2020.Firstly,sort out the relevant documents of urban toughness and build an evaluation index system for urban resilience level.Secondly, the entropy weight-TOPSIS method was used to measure the resilience level of cities, and the resilience level of each city, the resilience level of urban agglomerations and the resilience level of subsystems were obtained, and the spatiotemporal differentiation characteristics of urban resilience in urban agglomerations in Northeast China were analyzed. Finally, the obstacle model is used to analyze the obstacles that affect the toughness of the city, and propose targeted policy recommendations. The research results are mainly as follows:(1)In terms of time change, the overall resilience of urban agglomerations in Northeast China showed the characteristics of increased volatility, the gap between urban resilience levels narrowed, and the resilience levels of various subsystems had obvious fluctuations.(2)In terms of space, the urban agglomeration in Northeast China is generally centered around the core cities of the region as high resilience level cities, while the resilience level of other cities is expanded and improved around the four cities of "Shen Da Ha Chang".The spatial differences in resilience levels of the two urban agglomerations correspond to their temporal characteristics. The spatial differentiation of the resilience level of each subsystem is similar to the overall differentiation of urban resilience, showing obvious spatial differences. In terms of spatial autocorrelation, the global spatial autocorrelation of the resilience level of urban agglomerations in the Northeast region is positive, indicating significant spatial correlation characteristics. In the local spatial autocorrelation, the "high-high" clustering areas are mostly highly resilient cities, while other cities are mostly "low-low" clustering areas during the research period and their correlation with surrounding cities gradually weakens.(3)In terms of obstacles to urban resilience, each subsystem ranked economic resilience> social resilience>engineering resilience > ecological resilience in terms of obstacles to urban resilience. At the index level, the proportion of the tertiary industry in GDP,the revenue within the general budget of local finance, and the number of library collections per 10,000 people showed an upward trend. Finally, based on the analysis of the temporal and spatial differentiation characteristics and obstacles of urban resilience in the urban agglomeration in Northeast China, and combined with the current situation of regional development, this thesis makes suggestions for the future development of urban agglomeration in Northeast China, which should promote industrial structure adjustment to enhance the vitality of economic development, improve the level of public services, improve the ecological environment, and make high-quality coordinated development of the region,so as to improve the urban resilience level of the urban agglomeration in Northeast China. |
